  1. Ford Maverick Crash Testing

weird that whoever posted that video seems to have used a different truck for the main pre-play display image.
  2. Photos: 2022 Maverick EcoBoost Lariat doing truck stuff in Colorado

Looks like the truck version of... ...and it's amazing!
  3. When Will You Take Delivery of Your Maverick? Win A Gift for Your Truck!

Waited ~300 days for a 2023 hybrid. Fastest/easiest way to get a Maverick today is pay more, be flexible with trims, packages, and options, and travel to pick it up. If you're ordering a 2024 though - EcoBoost XLT is the way to go.
  4. The "Grays"

Apparently they are (or they were in 2021 at least). Did some searching... https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/cactus-gray-fighter-jet-gray.534/
  5. The "Grays"

So... Fighter Jet and Cactus are the same color? ... or they have some of the same color ingredients? I'm confused. What do all the codes mean?
  6. '23 Maverick finally Arrived and I'm stoked, except for one tiny detail

It might be best to avoid storing a dirty rug in a small enclosed space of any kind for a week. If there's no good way for moisture to escape, it's probably going to grow mold regardless of where you keep it. Sorry about the lost rug but very glad to hear your Maverick experience has been so...
  7. 2023 Maverick order canceled by FORD

No matter how you slice it, we've seen no evidence that this would be Ford's error and no indication that Ford would have cancelled your order for any reason except COVP at this time. If you plan on working with this dealer in the future, it might be worth your time to determine all the gritty...
  8. Dual 12v batteries in parallel?

This seems like a good idea. I'm curious why the manual specifies an AGM for the EB but not the hybrid though. I noticed that AutoZone says AGMs require specialized chargers - maybe that's why? I'd be a little concerned about installing one if the hybrid doesn't have the necessary equipment on...
  9. Dual 12v batteries in parallel?

Definitely good thoughts here. Probably the only good way to do it is two new batteries from the same production batch and toss the stock. Hoping I never need to consider it. I like the cut over approach better too.
  10. I thought the thing would beep before I ran into something....close calls...no big deal

If you've got $33 and you're willing to drill into your bumper you can get those beeps back.
  11. Does the hybrid battery hold charge after I shut off the engine?

Awesome! Tell us more - What's your measurement setup look like?
  12. Dual 12v batteries in parallel?

Anyone done it? Just curious if anyone has resorted to drastic measures yet to address battery issues.
  13. Lasfit LED upgrade with pictures

AMEN! Honestly - why can't we have this amazing paint on top of our vehicles yet? I'd sooner pay an extra charge for that magical voodoo concoction than clear coat or PPF.
  14. Does the hybrid battery hold charge after I shut off the engine?

Yes - it holds a charge. In fact - almost all the charge you had will still be there for when you return after such a short time. What you're asking about is called the "self-discharge" rate of the battery chemistry. It looks like lithium ion would lose about 5% of its charge in a month of not...
  15. Lasfit LED upgrade with pictures

Anyone else getting a stormtrooper vibe from that last photo? ...maybe the first one too? I think it might be that silver Ford badge tying it all together. .... and I'm loving it. Looks great - thanks for sharing!
  16. Rear passenger window won't go up

So weird... just saw the same issue in another post: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/window-issue.33446/post-606891
  17. So sorry to all members

I didn't read all the details of your previous discussions but I commend you for this post. We need more people around here who have the ability and maturity to take a step back, pause, and move forward constructively in good faith with others. Thanks for setting a good example with this and...
