I wish more people understood this! To the best of my knowledge, the description you gave is true for every ADAS on the market right now with perhaps one very limited exception. Bottom line - driving today is still very much the responsibility of humans regardless of what tech you have on board...
Finally got around to checking the math on my 2023 build.
12.7% increase for nearest configuration I could find and it still doesn't include every option on the 2023 order.
Two questions:
We're discussing the factory option right? Not the Ford accessory that you stick on the outside?
Does it raise the price only for those who select to add it or does offering the option raise prices across the board due to added complexity in manufacturing and supply chain?
Ugh!!! These kind of shenanigans drive me nuts!
I don't care what the rules are; I'll follow them. I only insist that they not be arbitrary and subjective. Sheesh.
Sorry for your pain.
Have you added any accessories to the same circuit as the camera? Made any electrical or software modifications? If so, might try rolling those back and see if it resolves on its own.
Yeah - I wondered about this also. I could make a weak case for it both ways but I don't have anything compelling that puts me firmly in one camp or the other.
FWIW though - it seems to be advantageous for Ford and Ford dealers to create the expectation that order banks will only be open a...
Perfect! Sounds like a great strategy that should work really well with your audience. Looking forward to it. ....especially if you can do it cheaper than a foamy!
If you're not familiar with "foamies" - trailers made of mostly foam - check them out. There's some good resources on how to add lightweight skin directly over the foam that's paintable and waterproofed.
Project looks great!
True. If you could turn around and sell it same day at a higher price though, then you purchased at a discount to the market value of the asset. I understood this to be OP's meaning rather than the marketing/sales strategy of discounting. ...and either way the gist of it is that the price of...
There's a phone number you can call on the reference chart. I find with this stuff it's best to have them tell you so if there's a problem, it's on them. If you can contact in writing, that'd be even better so you can keep a copy in the event they change something later.

You guys all have it backwards - literally. The trailer's modified with cab and steering on the back end and it drives in reverse pulling the Maverick in flat tow. ...also in reverse. ...obviously.

Well this is good to know. Every time I read that they have a "luxurious finish" it makes me wonder if they compromised on durability for the sake of comfort.
Thanks so much for the extra info! Also - I noticed you've been all over MTC since arriving and adding loads of good info to the site...
I really like the idea of TuxMats but I've been looking for a 5 year+ review to hear how they hold up over the long haul. Any chance you've owned a set for roughly ...a long time?
