I would guess it would be difficult. This is not situation like Tesla, where all dealers are the same company. Your dealer is making money by selling you or someone else that truck. Not sure they are going to let another dealer have that order. Plus you may Have agreed to a price when...
we have to keep in mind this is just a scheduling email. Ultimately, it matters little if you get scheduled for an October build on August 26th vs September 16th. I admit it is nice to be scheduled, but if the delay doesnāt affect build date, which seems to be the case, I can deal with it...
I can say it isnāt great. I had to have it towed two or three times due to this. AAA came in handy. Mine doesnāt even have fix a flat. the hybrid battery ate up the spot where the spare would be.
that is the full sized spare. It isnāt quite as big as the regular tire, but definitely bigger than a donut. I am guessing the regular is a 14in. My current car doesnāt even have a spare, so any spare is a bonus. Lots of cars just come with fix a flat now, some run flats still, but i think...
That dealer Is taking advantage of the times. I suspect those prices are going to drop quite a bit when the Mavericks roll onto the dealer floors. But who knows, maybe some of the Ford dealerships are going to add some fees to the dealer stock Mavericks as well.
I am not sure if they were...
Spoke to Ford and good things seem to be brewing on my order. I was told that the reservation in the system is now corrected to Lariat and I no longer have a hold. My concern was getting that bill date scheduled and it saying XLT
This is exactly right. From all the pics I see, Continentals are on the 17s and Michelinās on the 18s. My experience is that Michelinās are great for mpg on a hybrid. I have had them, and two different sets of Bridgestones since, and the Michelins did about 10% better, 38.8 vs 42.5 mpg
There is also a big advantage to the scheduling delay. Instead of scheduling for the 1st two weeks of November on August 26th, they will be scheduling the last two weeks of October. At the rate they were going, they would have been scheduling for January in mid September.
Based upon some of the posts, it seems things will be in motion this week, maybe no scheduling, but vins assigned, codes changed, etc. I wouldnāt be shocked if the 4k fwd thing threw a monkey wrench in the scheduling this week. Seems like an issue to deal with. Who knows, if enough builds are...
For me, the Maverick is great. Seems like it will have a good amount of space for the driver and front Seat passenger as well as a usable rear seat. Couple that with the fuel economy and it is hard to beat
