Greetings,
While washing my truck on Sunday, I noticed a chip on my right front wheel - see attached photos. I think this happened when a heavy flatbed cart got away from me on a Loweās parking lot recently.
Curious as to any recommendations / suggestions to repair it? I donāt plan to spend...
^^^ surprised the Ford Account on this board hasnāt reached out yet to ask for your VIN and dealer infoā¦.
Just kiddingā¦.. sort of.
Wishing the best in getting you problem resolved.
Looks great! If I may respectfully make a suggestion, consider installing a hood deflector. Going with your carbon fiber motif, I bet it would look really sharp.
As others have said, welcome to the MTC board! The Maverick is a great little truck.
I had a 94 Ranger for 27 years and 353k miles until I bought my 22 Maverick off the lot in March 22. I then ordered a 2023 and sold my 2022 to my dad who absolutely loves it.
So⦠what did you order - XL...
I have been recording my odometer, total gallons, and miles traveled between fill-ups since I bought my Maverick. Iāve run past zero maybe twice; only when I know Iām close to multiple gas stations.
The most Iāve put into my gas tank is 16.84 gallons.
LOL at the dealer installation.... You'll obviously have to "un-install" it to drove off from the dealership unless you plan to stick your head out the window (not recommended  )
I promised a review of the Mabett sun shade so here goes....
It works very well to keep the interior temperature at a manageable tolerable when I get in the truck to go home. One of first days I used it, it still quite warm and then I realized I had left the sunroof damper open. o_O š„“...
Looks really good. I'm not at all planning to re-tune my Maverick and do all the mods you did to the intercooler, air intake, etc. Just curious if you've measured the difference in MPG, HP, etc from original stock to what you have now??
Sure looks like it deployed and if so yes it's most likely going to be declared a total loss. Hopefully the other driver was insured(?), or else hopefully the OP has uninsured coverage (?). If so, the OP should get a respectable settlement of this, notwithstanding the massive inconvenience of...
Ruby Red is too close to Gamecock colors LOL.
Nothing wrong with Oxford White but itās not for me personallyā¦ā¦ Iām surrounded by white fleet trucks at my workplace.
Seriously Ruby Red looks to be a very cool color and Iāll bet a lot of 2025 Mavericks will have this color.
I actually like this better than I thought I wouldā¦.. but cāmon Ford, if youāre going to have black wheels for this special trim, at least provide black lug nuts.
Desert Sand is another new color for Maverick in 25. Vaguely similar to the Terrain color for the 24 Maverick. Desert Sand is an active color for the Bronco Sport.
I've seen Eruption Green on Bronco / Bronco Sports out on the road.
I believe the Space White Metallic is available on certain F-Series trims (XLT and above??)
Really glad that FMC switched from Velocity Blue to Atlas Blue for the 2023 MY. To each their own on color preferences, but I like AB much better than VB.
