With the Ascent's traction control off and the transmission in manual mode "1st gear" you can keep the revs up for great donuts. Same thing in my '16 CrossTrek...that was the best at snownuts! Manual transmission and minimal interference from the nannies was a great combo. 4wd donuts feel cool...
Used to be a high school administrator...always made situations so much better when the kid came out with the truth on their own. Gotta have good relationships with kids to make that work.
First decent snow storm coming through right now. Went on a coffee run this morning with my daughter and was reminded that the Rav4 I'm driving until the Mav gets built won't let me do snownuts...so lame! My wife's Subaru Ascent rips great donuts in snowy empty parking lots.
Someone please let...
My first truck was a 1986 Dodge Dakota - 2WD, 4-cylinder, manual...and also turd brown. The Mav will be my first Ford...we were a mostly GM family when it came to trucks.
I want the additional towing capacity provided by the 4K package and, given the EB production capacity, I'm leaving it on my order. Fingers crossed to have it in the driveway by July!
Buy it and flip it, for sure if you're comfortable doing so! After all is said and done you should be able to clear at least $5,000. Take the money and reduce your debt (after you go out for a nice dinner).
"Our new orders for Maverick totaled more than 86,000 in September and we were open for less than a week," Deep said.

Hey All...with the 4K tow package, is there both a 4-pin and 7-pin connection or just the 7-pin. My Subaru Ascent has both and it has been more useful than I would have guessed.
Totalled my Subaru Crosstrek last winter and bought an old RAV4 to have something immediately. I liked the Crosstrek and would have run it to 200k miles, but that really work out!
A Mav allow me to:
keep a smaller car
keep AWD as a New Englander commuting 25 miles through the woods every day...
As a school employee I view the calendar through school vacations; I'll be satisfied if I'm my Mav at the start of school next fall (late August)...anything ahead earlier is going to be a celebration!
I sat in one at a dealership but it hadn't gone through the shop yet so couldn't take it on the road.
Ordered one last week and dealer wanted a non-refundable deposit. I told them that was a deal breaker since I have not been able to drive one. They changed their mind and agreed to $500 refundable.
Got my order in Friday afternoon from Rowe (XLT EB 4K carbonized grey). Paid a refundable $500 deposit. They committed to msrp and their doc fee is $500. Did everything by email and phone in about 30 minutes...was impressed with no bs at all.
Starting to see more on the road in the central...
