Been waiting for the Maverick Hybrid with AWD to replace my 2016 Subaru Forester XT. It has been a good vehicle, but I have found myself wishing I had something with a bed many, many times.
I have a 2025 Maverick Hybrid with AWD on-order now :)
The increased gas mileage will be a nice perk...
?? ecoboosts do not have CV axles. unless i am mistaken, that is purely a hybrid thing.
edit: I was mistaken. was thinking of the CVT rather than the CV axles.
i think the hybrids of previous MY are known to have CV axle issues. sucks yours both went at different times and within a short period of time, but it should still be under warranty, i believe, unless you have been putting a bunch of miles on it.
im hoping MY25 will not have the same CV axle...
Sure? kind of not related to the original question though, which my reply directly addressed.
"Is Ford going to fix the issues in previous MY for MY25?" The answer seems to be they are attempting to address the issues. This is how manufacturing works.
Do the new modules have issues...
Because when a fix is available, those vehicles can be fixed just like all the rest? Why stop production for an issue that can be fixed post-production? Do you understand how manufacturing works? Every minute they aren't producing, they are losing 1000's of dollars.
Those 2024s will...
What do you want them to fix? MY25 doesnt even have the same infotainment system in it at all. It runs SYNC4, which has been in other Ford vehicles for years and any related recalls for that system would have been addressed already by now. Seems to me they fixed it.
As far as the CV axles...
MY25 is using a redesigned CV axle. Supposedly it is the same CV axle that is in the Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid and is stronger so that it can support AWD in the hybrid Maverick models.
It isn't new. Sync4 has been in other Ford vehicles for years now. The existing infotainment recall only...
