I am a car guy. So even bought a truck with a lot more options than you did, I have still made many changes to my truck. If you are going to own it and enjoy it, you might as well do what you need to get there. Full tint, and wheel/tire package alone would make that like a different truck.
Half of what you just said here is BS. NOBODY is paying 25% of the vehicle cost for an extended warranty. And, cars break. ALL the time. I make a pretty comfortable living because they break. Telling someone not to buy a plan is bad advice. You may not agree, but you would still be wrong if...
Working in the business, I would not own ANY new car past the warranty period and without a factory extended warranty, unless you are someone flush with cash. It is an insurance plan, and you may never use it. But the likelihood of having to replace a head on one of these post warranty is pretty...
I imagine it depends pretty heavily on the specific tire as not all 235’s are the same weight. But I think the fuel mileage sticker on these is the same whether optioned with the 225 or 235, except in Tremor trim
I just think the 245 is more than this truck needs. Also, aesthetically I think the 235 is the sweet spot. The guys running 255's and above 65 height just looks all wrong on this truck. Plus it sucks up a fair amount of power.
I just mounted these same tires and my new wheels also. This tire is so much nicer and better looking that the poop stock 225's. though now that they are on, I think the next time I need new tires I will go to a 235
I need to make an updated post this weekend with the things I have done on mine. But, one of the best is easily the Lasfit LED conversion. The lights are so much brighter and better looking than the stock bulbs that it was kind of shocking.
No pictures yet, as I just put my new wheels on last night. But mine are perfect other than being a bit dirty. 3900 hwy miles with 7/32 still on the tires. I would prefer to sell them as a package and $800 seems fair to me. I live in North Glendale, AZ and work in the North Scottsdale area. If...
I have seen WAY worse modifications on this site LOL. This is pretty fun man. I raced a KTM myself for a few years. They make such awesome bikes it is hard NOT to love them. Congrats on both of your rides.
LOL. Bro. Of course he pulled out too far. But is it possible you were glued to your rear view mirror cursing at him immediately after and that is why you made a right turn into the curb? There is no reason to have made the move that you did, post getting around said idiot.
I never agree to anything without an estimate. I worked in California for over 10 years, and for all of the things they get wrong, consumer protection (at least specific to auto stuff) is not one of them. If you do work like that without a signed authorization from a client you are doing it for...
I am going to interject on this as I always will. Technicians are paid on flat rate. You cannot penalize a tech for being more efficient on a repair (given that they quoted the client an accurate book time) There are many times they lose on a repair, especially if it is warranty. Our shop...
I am not particularly picking on the OP here, but maybe for all it is a good time to take a breath and be reminded of a few things. And I am not looking for this to devolve into a political argument. Everyone in this forum has a roof over their head, food on their table, and the ability to buy a...
These trucks really are awesome. If I wasn't in a phase of my life where I specifically want to spend less and save more I would 100% buy a well optioned Colorado. I just can't stomach spending that much anymore.
