I checked the nhtsa website with my VIN and shows no recalls. Not sure if that is accurate because my truck has not been built yet. I have a build week and a VIN. Hopefully Ford will incorporate this software update going forward on new builds.

I think those are reflectors. My current truck has them on all 4 doors. They put them there so if you have your door open at night traffic can see.
