  1. 150 miles @ 75 mph, 29 mpg. No bueno.

This was my total mileage on my truck since I got it (photo from a last week). This included Ohio winter cold (learning how the heat makes the engine run much much more), driving over 800 miles with a trailer (3 separate trips), several long trips, some freeways around town and a lot of city...
  2. 150 miles @ 75 mph, 29 mpg. No bueno.

If you're gonna run a lot at 75-80 I'd recommend you have a bed cover. That small percentage savings goes way up the higher the speed you get.
  3. $300.00 push pin!

The tread and the sidewall. There's not one person that would say crown or shoulder unless they're discussing uneven wear. Your diagram even explains that. Get a 295/75r22.5 and say that more than an inch in is unpatchable and a shop would laugh at that. It's only the first inch, regardless of...
  4. $300.00 push pin!

Within an inch of the edge is considered the sidewall.
  5. Hybrid xlt need push gas pedal to move?

Auto stop is down on the center console by the driving mode and traction control buttons. Looks like a snail or an unraveled cinnamon roll.
  6. $300.00 push pin!

Yeah. They won't patch it because they don't want to take the liability of it fails and causes an accident. But I would've just patched it myself and just put it on the rear.
  7. Should there be an engine cover?

Maybe it's just grown on me, but i like seeing the engine bare.
  8. 600 Miles Per Tank Hybrid Maverick club

Just missed the 600mi to E. Guage was fairly accurate. 47.2mpg by hand calculation. Only the 5th time I've filled it up in 2815 miles.
  9. Should there be an engine cover?

I think having the skid* plate underneath helps keep the engine bay cleaner. I'm 2500mi in and my engine still looks day one clean.
  10. How many Mavericks have you seen?

Finally saw my first in Youngstown, Ohio other than my own. Was carbonized gray.
  11. Took delivery today!!

It was my fear when I decided on it over the velocity blue was that in every photo it seemed like the color was noticeably different. That maybe I wasn't going to like the color. But I didn't want the in your face bright blue. But when you see the area 51 in person, it looks perfect. And the...
  12. Hybrid Shudder from electric to ICE (video uploaded)

It sounds like the engine is lugging since it wasn't shutoff during the coast/charge cycle. Like a manual left in gear.
  13. Hauling & Towing Combined

You're welcome. I had to double check when I got mine because it seemed like the towing only being 500 more than payload made me think maybe it was additional.
  14. Titus-Will Ford in Tacoma sold my truck to someone else

I really don't want to defend this, but he was probably just going off the recommended replacement schedule and never thought the customer would have changed it on their own between intervals.
  15. Hauling & Towing Combined

2000 max if towing, 1500 if you're not towing. Anything hauled subtracts from the towing limit.
  16. All trucks (including Maverick) in California get a commercial registration!

I thought he meant he just drove there in his Texas registered truck and was pulled over. Reciprocity among the states must be followed. All states must honor out of state registrations and inspections criteria. Ohio doesn't have inspections. I can legally drive my vehicles in states with...
  17. Hawaii

Just out of curiosity, what's the shipping costs from California to Hawaii for a new vehicle if it's not being shipped by Ford to Hawaii?
  18. Ohio Roll Call

Funny I posted this and then I finally saw my first in the wild Maverick. Carbonized Gray, not sure the model, but was turning from Indianola onto Southern on the south side of Youngstown. I pointed at them but they didn't see or notice. But definitely cool to see another one finally.
  19. Last 1000+ mile MPG for my HYBRID = 42.7 MPG

The timer is not just drive time. Any time the truck is on it's counting the time. And with it staying off there's many times I'll just have the truck on while parked rather than switch to accessory power.
  20. 600 Miles Per Tank Hybrid Maverick club

My last tank. And my current tank so far: Have some very good short trips. Like this morning:
