I can get in the 50s and 60s for some trips. But for my short trips some time the ice has to run when it's only needed for electric and not hills, etc.
So my city average is probably 50. But the few times I get on the freeway even a few miles it's lucky to hit 40. To the point I'll follow the...
You must have much more flat ground than me. No matter how I work it, hills always draw down the mpg climbing much more than I get coasting down them. Mostly because the one had an intersection at the bottom of the hill. So always stopped at the bottom downhill or starting uphill.
Not green. But saw this today. Didn't even notice it was a maverick at first because of the rack. Definitely makes a nice work truck. Servpro would make sense.
Remember the 1500 is total load in the truck, the 2000 is trailer plus all the weight in the truck and trailer.
If you're just putzing around town at slow speeds, you're not too worried about the weight. Only if you're running on the freeway would you be concerned.
As for me, I bought a used...
Didn't even realize this was a maverick at first. Was just looking at the advertising and then glanced down at the truck and saw maverick.
Third maverick in the Youngstown/Boardman area.
Makes for a nice work truck.
I'm not sure I could hit 700 without actively driving only set routes and nothing else.
One thing with the maverick is I tend to take the shortest way where before I would sometimes take the longer route with freeway driving included. With the mpg on streets, I tend to stick to streets.
First leg over a mile with hybrid time showing over 100mpg.
Trips like these are fairly common for commutes. Have gotten good at staying in electric mode.
Back to back trips:
This was a big trip. Lots of back roads and some freeway.
I know this is a lot, but here's the last two...
My old beater car I had, I had a two in one car / wall charger that I just took with me. Since the that part of the design was pretty solid I just would leave the cord plugged in. But with a built in USB plug, I'm not risking ruining the receptacle in the truck by making it loose from constantly...
Saw my 2nd! On 224 in Boardman crossing South Ave. Was cyber orange. Really stood out. Was passing by while they were a few cars deep on south at the light I may or may not have made.
But very cool to finally see another one. Next notable thing will be when I see another Area 51.
Since the...
Mine had 8 miles on it when I picked it up. 11 after a test drive before signing all the paperwork. Wish I had taken a photo of it. Didn't think about it. My only other ever new vehicle had about 17 on it. Never single digits.
I have a Lariat so not a many problems he had I'll have. What's funny is for me the USB A is so freaking tight I leave the cord in and have a dedicated car cord. Makes charging easier since it makes great contact.
When I first got mine and put my charging cable in, I thought "I'm going to need...
I switched plates from my old car and had no problems. Registration was standard. I thought about renewing for multiple years but didn't. Should've because I've got a feeling they'll figure it out next year. Though since it's a renewal maybe never.
