I have these in my miata. I really wouldn't trust it to hold up a license plate. You can pop those pins pretty easily.
I don't feel like washing the truck right now so I just wanted to put the plates on first and get to it later. Still haven't fully decided what to do just yet.
Rivnuts seems like a good option. Not sure if I want to create my own tool to install it and the actual tool isn't cheap for something I'm likely going to do once.
Is that only rivet gun that will fit the plastic rivets? I originally thought I could just get the cheap $5 tool...
I need to install the front license plate bracket which means drilling into the bumper. Not a huge deal for me so I don't really care for aftermarket no drill offerings. I don't have a rivet gun and would like to be able to take the bracket off once in a while to clean everything behind it. Has...
I also got the same set and posted my review on the Mabett thread. I compared it to my existing rubber mats, and I wasn't as impressed. I'll copy and paste my review from there here.
I purchased the hybrid floor mat and bed mat combo using the discounted links for $160+tax , but I have no...
I'd like to offer my review of the items in the OP.
I purchased the hybrid floor mat and bed mat combo using the discounted links for $160+tax , but I have no affiliation with Mabett. They looked good and the price was reasonable. I also had a set of some generic Maverick hybrid specific...
You're getting redirected somehow. You can try copy and pasting the URL instead of clicking on the link https://www.amazon.com/promocode/ALSTJUSXLKPZS and it should work.
I ordered back in September and have signed up for Farm Bureau for over 30 days. I am about to pick up my truck but the dealer is having some difficulties applying the Farm Bureau $500 discount, which they think may be because of the price protection I received since prices have gone up a few...
Has anyone used this Oedro hinged hard tri-fold? It has a built in LED which looks really handy. https://www.amazon.com/Tri-fold-Tonneau-Compatible-Maverick-Fleetside/dp/B0BKFZKS4V
I went back and they canceled the order. Terribly shady dealer. Made a separate post about it. Went to a different one and placed an order there without any issues.
This was at Fair Oaks Ford in Naperville, IL. The manager is Jeremy Talley. Here's some detail about what happened.
I was talking to Jeremy on this visit pretty much the whole time although the salesperson who did my order was there beside him. It was pretty impressive the amount of mental...
They said Ford needed it to verify I'm a real person to prevent fake orders. So I guess that's a complete lie. And I already told them I don't need financing period.
I went to another dealership and placed an order there. I went back to the shady dealer to void the application. The manager...
I went into the dealer to place an order for the '23 Maverick but they told me they required me to provide my SSN and workplace but not income. I essentially filled out their credit application form and signed it because they said Ford requires proof that the person ordering is a real person...
My dealer is saying I need to provide my SSN because Ford wants to make sure the person ordering is real. Has that been your guys' experience? I practically filled out the credit app but they say they're not going to submit.
So new orders start tomorrow 9/15? Previously, someone said that was only for '22 orders that got carried over to '23. If new orders indeed start tomorrow, I'm going to head to the dealership.
