Side window vents are pretty nice actually, they just kick the rear end out a bit. It is screened. It should work fine for keeping cool though if it was super hot there might be some trouble with air flow with no breeze.

Agreed. The lip at the bottom front of the cap is obnoxiously thick. Could easily have been half that height and given a lot more rear vis.

Re: front window. It does open. I didn't see the hinges at first. Was hoping for slider style. Cap shows out of stock on Ford accessories but dealer can order it with the part number. Installed it's just shy of $4k so pretty expensive. It also doesn't electronically lock just the metal key. Gas...

So the biggest problem is that the window at the front of the cap is tiny like maybe 7 in tall and it doesn't extend down far enough so you get a really big lip at the bottom of that where you can't see through it the rear glass is also pretty small it's maybe 8 in tall total

Honestly no idea how heavy it is or how the install was. Dealer installed it for me before I picked it up. I'm used to trucks with caps but this has a very small slit to see out of. I'll get some pictures in an hour or so.
