My Maverick has the same issue. Took in on 2/26. They changed the fluid and got it back 2/28. Drove it over the weekend and the groan is still there. Have a follow up appointment on 3/10.

The best solution for this is to add a switchback to the reverse light part of the housing. Ive seen this done in Toyota Trucks and some Subaru's. Sounds simple to do in theory. Use a socket that has dual filament capability. White for reverse, amber for turn signals. I havent done this but just...
