I might do the switch to the Eco Boost, take delivery and put in an order for a 2023 hybrid and a year from now do the trade in for the hybrid…..my guess is you won’t loose too much in the end.

Anyone thinking their Mav to be delivered by late spring or summer thinking to just wait for a 2023 MY Mav? Price increase? Maybe dealer will eat the price increase and shift order to MY23 and Ford honoring those that do.

small price to pay (other than your 6 month wait)….try & relax….shouldn’t be more than a few more days until your driving your new truck. Know your dealer wants you in that Maverick just as bad as you want in it.

i drove around high elevatio( CO) for almost one tank and got noticeably higher than normal mpg, compared to my home elevation of 900’ vs 6500’ Colorado…..reduced wind resistance from reduced air pressure.

I might consider giving your first dealer another stab at your business IF they give you a realistic price concession for staying with them (since they have admitted it’s their fault/doing). I would think they might concede a nice discount on an EB or even capping or eating the 2023 MY hybrid...

I‘m in a similar boat as you (6-17-21 order date) hybrid XLT Lux and 360 packs…..talked to my rep yesterday. He thinks I’ll get a production or build date by mid Jan. 2022 and 4-6 weeks later a ship date.

A good question. Depending on my hybrid order being actually built and shipped, I may request to reschedule mine as a 2023 model (if my place in line won’t change).

I’m thinking you want to know the max bed weight alone (with just 1 person/driver)….you’d take the max payload of estimate 1500 lbs minus the driver weight (estimate 225 lbs?) or 1275 lbs for max bed payload. Just my math
