I didn't even look to see which labeled one. I just measured the bracket so that the base of the rack is sitting in that groove on the roof. I believe they were the smallest brackets. I don't have the old brackets or manual, but I'm pretty sure they were the smallest ones.
Forgot to mention, I replaced the steering wheel with a 2020 Ford Escape steering wheel with leather. This enables cruise control on the XL which doesn't come standard, plus the leather steering wheel is way more comfortable. Only a $160 upgrade.
No, around here I'm fine with using A/T oversized tires in snow and ice on front wheel drive for safety and better traction and switching back to a street tire in April. I drive 40k miles per year, many of those in ice and snow, and safety is paramount. Not saying your tires won't work, but...
I'm not worried about it. I'm going to put the summer tires back on in April which are near stock and the same circumstance as the stock tires so it isn't too big of deal. For as much driving as I do in the winter in freezing conditions, it was worth it to sacrifice MPG for traction and...
I just got these wheels on a whim...I went on RealTruck.com and searched Mavericks rims. Found these and I likes them the best. They didn't disappoint!
I used a universal rack from Amazon and it fit perfectly. I love it, it handles my 24 and 28 foot extension ladders when I need them.

It getst about 40 overall vs the 44 I was getting. I drive a lot of city miles. The tires will be changed next summer to street tires which will get me back to 44 mpg overall. These are my winter tires and I wanted to get them installed before the heavy rain and snow hit.
When I'm backing up and I have the wheel completely turned it does rub the splash guard slightly, only on the front tires. I've marked it and am going to modify the splash guards so they don't rub. It's very slight and fixable.
The tires I got were these: https://realtruck.com/p/fuel-gripper-a-t-tires/v/ford/maverick/2022/
265/65/R17. I live in Washington so these will be good in snow, rain, and mud. I also bought the stock Ford mudflaps for front and rear tires because these stick out a few inches and wanted to...
I agree! The rim size is the same, but with wider A/T gripper tires that add maybe 1 inch of height. I plan on lowering it 1-2" and it should handle the PNW rain and snow no problem 😎
