So I'm now up to 150 miles (still all in reverse) and the crazy things is my fuel gauge has gone from 1/4 tank up to nearly 1/2. Pretty sure i can get it to full by the weekend.
You can see them because they are actually aftermarket tires. They are the Michelin FRT-12 Frictionless ultra roll carbon fiber radials. They are designed for PHEV but the guy at discount tires put them on backwards so they would work with a hybrid.
I went to Mr Tint but he was fully booked up. Mrs Tint and crew were doing team building exercises. So I ended up with Cousin Tint. The price was great but some of finer detail work leaves something to be desired.
Big shout out to Dennis down at "S. K. Rooyoo Ford Dealership" for waiving the $5k ADM and taking 50% off the ultra premium double ceramic nutmeg under coating. That along with the oddly mandatory "help put my kid through college" fee and i got out of the sale room at just a smidge over $15k...
So far it’s great! I’ve only driven it about 75 miles so far…but all in reverse to keep the miles low for better resale. Yes the paint was custom camouflage to blend into my front yard.

When talking about the firewall/floor one should also keep in mind the various power train options. AWD/FWD/Turbo/Hybrid likely have different sound levels and pitches.
I’ve had the same box of checks for over 15 years. The address is no longer valid but I still have 4 or 5 unused checkbooks. Easy to find in my gun safe.
