  1. Hybrid getting ready to ship?

This vin just showed up at Stone Mountain Ford's website. Funny. https://www.fivestarfordsm.com/new-Stone+Mountain-2022-Ford-Maverick-Base-3FTTW8E32NRA07150?fe_dcv_uuid=32a64ea8-c741-4230-b5ba-4ded39c2a60c&utm_source=Foureyes&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Prospect+Engagement&utm_content=New+On+Lot
  2. Hybrid mileage at 500 miles: 44.9 MPG (600+ miles per tank)

That was based on a single data point. Do better.
  3. Swap to Lithium ion 12v battery.

😆 I didn't say kill. It's a waste of using them. Go to bed.
  4. Swap to Lithium ion 12v battery.

Funny how no one has mentioned that the 12v battery in hybrids tend to last far longer due to less strain. You've ignored that the 12v battery doesn't start the engine. Then on top of that it's not charged by an old school engine rpm dependent alternator. It is charged by a dc to dc inverter...
  5. First 2.5 Hybrid Oil Change @ 5400 miles [Video DIY & Oil Analysis]

Has your truck been loaned out to magazines?
  6. eCVT is amazing!

I bet it does since the engine can literally turn off while you are driving. If you can't handle that you'll have to by an EV to get your great mileage.
  7. eCVT is amazing!

Love it in my Prius v.
  8. Maverick SUV (rendering)?

Obviously it wouldn't start anywhere near $20k. A base model Escape starts at $26k and the hybrid starts at $28.5k
  9. How about REAL world HYBRID MPG now that a few members have received them...

Agreed. I've expected it twice now. First when the window stickers got update then once ford got the OKTB.
  10. Review: Living With a 2022 Hybrid Maverick XLT

My current reply and your statement are a complete waste of internet resources.
  11. How about REAL world HYBRID MPG now that a few members have received them...

This is the only true real world method. Do not trust the computer numbers alone. https://www.fuelly.com/car/ford/maverick/2022
  12. Review: Living With a 2022 Hybrid Maverick XLT

I have zero issue paying $500 just for push button start. I haven't had to take my keys out of my pocket for 5 years, not about to start now.
  13. Hybrid engines "put on hold" (?)

Called a dealer today inquiring about a hybrid that showed up on their website (turned out to be just a vin for a customer order) and they told me the exact same junk about there being an issue with the hybrid engines. Says they were having a compatibility problem, that they are fine in the...
  14. [Updated] Real world Hybrid Maverick MPG mileage after 200+ miles (by owner)

Two points. 1. I do not trust the EV vs Gas calculator. 2. I will hypermile my hybrid Mav to 45 mpgs for an entire tank once just cause. I was able to get my Prius v to 47.2 mpg for an entire tank (manually calculated) driving 90% highway vs an EPA rating of 40 mpg.
  15. Hybrid engine performance question

2021 Leaf is one second slower than the hybrid Mav. Mid 8s vs mid 7s. I'm not talking about the Plus which you must be.
  16. [Updated] Real world Hybrid Maverick MPG mileage after 200+ miles (by owner)

Manually tracked fillups at Fuelly is the only data I trust. https://www.fuelly.com/car/ford/maverick/2022 I've tracked over 150k miles there myself across 5 different vehicles. You have to do at least 3 fill ups before your data becomes visible to the public. If you're curious how hybrid...
  17. EcoBoost or Hybrid? Need opinions and perspectives

Incorrect according to the reviews that I've watched and read. They get right at 40 mpg with mostly highway driving.
  18. no tach on hybrid

That's great news. I love that info in my Prius v.
  19. Attention: No New Hybrid Maverick orders after 11/15 (until Summer 2022)

I'm talking about a larger than standard price increase.
  20. no tach on hybrid

Watch the cluster as he drives, left circle specifically. Being at 0 for the white part of the circle means the engine is not helping move the truck. As he presses the pedal harder or goes faster the needle goes into the white. As he slows and regens power the needle goes down into the green.
