Took it to the dealer. It turns out none of the tires were balanced at the factory. I’m sure they pulled the mounted tires from inventory for installing on the assembly line so I am sure that other trucks manufactured at the same time will probably have the same problem.
Just picked up a 25 lariat. Noticed driving out of the dealership a cyclical noise from the left rear. I had to get home so I couldn’t have the service department look at it. The noise increases along with speed, but it is quite obvious at very low speed. It sounds like a tire with a flat spot...
I ordered the exact same truck on August 8, two months earlier, and it might be delivered next week. This whole Ford ordering experience is so screwed up!
I want to add that bushwhacker has a full range of lightweight larger campers. They have a couple of larger ones under 2500 pounds that are also very inexpensive used And you can stand up in them. They also have a very basic toilet and shower, but I was uninterested in that.
Google bushwacker camper and look for 10HD. I bought mine during Covid and have traveled all over Maine and New Brunswick. They come with an outdoor kitchen, AC unit and a propane furnace. You can find them at RV trader and craigslist used For less than $10,000. A lot of people bought these...
I will be towing my 1300 pound camper with an all-wheel-drive hybrid, assuming Ford decides they will finish the damn thing and ship it to me. In production since December 17. My dealer says that it’s being held because of some equipment issue. What a screwed up system.
My Lariat hybrid AWD was scheduled for production January 6 but I just checked and it is now in production, 2 1/2 weeks ahead of time. Ford must be clearing the backlog on production. Super good news.
I only showed a portion of my accessories page. My question is why some of the accessories included with the Lariat package are highlighted and others are not.
This is a portion of the accessories list for my 25 Lariat. It is job 1 so it won’t include pro trailer backup assist but some of the accessories that are part of the Lariat package are not highlighted. Does anyone know why some Lariat accessories are highlighted and others are not?
I ordered a lariat hybrid all-wheel-drive on August 16 and I just received a January 6 production schedule. I thought because of my early order I would be stuck with job 1, which meant I wouldn’t have pro trailer hitch assist or back up assist. I checked with Ford vehicle tracking using my VIN...
There are many forums where people who are interested can post pro and anti-Trump pro and anti-tariffs, etc. etc. One of the things I most like about this club is that it is almost all related to the Maverick, good and bad. I ordered a 2025 and I am looking forward to the truck. Yes, Ford has...
Believe it or not MAINE doesn’t have snow 12 months a year. We do have a lot of very poor paved roads and a lot of dirt and gravel roads. In fact I will be taking one of those gravel roads this morning to hike a land trust property. For me, I want a tire that performs equally well on the...
Neither. The Continental terrain contact is an outstanding tire. Quiet, good riding, and great in snow and slop. Been running on a Colorado 4 x 4 for a couple years and I couldn’t ask for more from an all-around truck tire.
I would be very hesitant about buying a new Colorado. I think they need to be on the market for a few years in order to figure out what problems they might have. I have a 18 Colorado four-cylinder four-wheel-drive that has been terrific but many, many owners of the six cylinder Colorado have had...
