just make sure to make a backup before you change anything and then try it. If something messes up you should be able to just revert back.
I did the TSR on my 22 lariat lux and it is really convenient and one of the best mods I’ve done. I hope that you’ll report back your findings for others to...
Had the same problem - really a shame... That said, I took some black paracord and wrapped it around the bar (maybe 5 times around over the length of each bar, so not a ton) and it helped a lot.
That setup looks awesome! Will be great for carrying gear.
As a regular family camper with my Mav, I'll strongly caution you before buying a rooftop tent. Not only are they ridiculously expensive, they basically make your vehicle unusable while up. Need to get to a trailhead or go make a quick...
There is no built in maps / GPS, even on the top trims. It does have Carplay/Android Auto and both work well and consistent with any other car, including upcoming turns and lane recommendations along with the full map view.
EDIT: MY23's have nav!
Super helpful. Thank you.
I have a hardwired dashcam as well, so could tie into that line. Did you then unhook from the battery and just use the ACC power? Or both ACC and battery?
Also, did you get a full speaker wire / sub install kit? or did the kicker come with everything needed?
Hows the...
Hey, I'm thinking about adding this exact sub to my lariat lux with the B&O, but a little nervous about install and have a bunch of questions. Would you mind posting how you ran the wires? Did you tap into the existing sub lines? How did you run power and the control dial? Is it setup to turn on...
Yes, it should work but I strongly advise you read the entire thread. All of it. Then watch some YouTube tutorials. This is not a small undertaking and you should understand ForScan, what you're doing, and the risks involved. All of the walkthroughs are on various pages in this thread and all of...
I've enabled TSR and it's awesome. Followed the thread in the FORSCAN section and works perfectly. Never thought about the need for it, but now that I have it, it's so dang handy...
I ordered the turn signals and returned them. They are crazy bright.
I was walking back to my car at night in a parking lot, remote-started, and they were blinding when they blinked. Felt as bright as high-beams. I don't need that for turn signals...
Completely agree with you. Some of my excitement wore off after driving it again for a full day today. It's definitely better, but not 100%. I'm rating it a B+ as of day 2 with the "fix."
I had the TSB done today and am very impressed with the outcome so far. A quick recap and some observations:
- I setup the appt saying that my brakes were acting up and inconsistent. That I had heard there was a TSB to address. When I arrived this morning, I had a printout of the TSB and...
Had the same question. I've done the traffic sign recognition and a few other small Forscan mods - should I revert back to factory or think it will be ok?
Looks great! Lots of questions:
- How much was it?
- Easy to install? Anything more than clamping it on?
- How's the weather resistance? Does it keep water out better than my crappy Ford folding tonneau?
- Where can we order?
Thanks for posting!
*shrug*
Definitely not as smooth as if I did it myself, but certainly not unusable. I set the distance to the furthest distance setting so that the braking isn't as dramatic. Sometimes if the start is to slow I'll add some gas to speed it up. For the most part, it does it all and works great. I...
I wired both to the same fuse in the passenger foot well. I didn't want to kill my battery with constant power on (my truck sits for a few days from time to time) so did one of the on/off fuses. I just put both wires in the fuse tap and it has worked fine so far.
The '23's have a nav option and I assume there have been no hardware changes. Has anyone seen any indication that adding nav will be possible on the 22 Lariat Lux's?
I have a '22 Lariat Lux Hybrid and it is worth every penny. I got it slightly below MSRP (X-Plan).
During my year-plus wait, I looked at lots of other options: a ranger (MPG much worse, cabin no larger), accord hybrid (nice but much less cargo capacity, more expensive for all the tech I...
