Yeah I read a story in another thread where the dealer told the person who ordered that it would take more than 7 days to do the safety checks, etc, before they could pick up heir Maverick. Then they relied on the rule that it was theirs if not picked up within 7 days and sold it out from under him.

Take a look at my post above. I finally resorted to calling Ford customer service weekly, and they finally gave me the name and number of the regional manager. After I talked to him, he got my order back on schedule and offered me X pricing.

If they have a plugin option, I'll probably order another one. That's the only feature I would wish for that's not available.

Maybe. I ordered in Sept 2021, and spent about 6 months trying to figure out what happened to my order because my dealer went out of business. Apparently they didn't follow the proper procedure for transferring our order to a new dealer. It took months to find a number for the regional manager...

The one I ordered 18 months ago is scheduled for build week of May 1. I need to call my insurance agent and tell him this one is going to go UP in value when I drive it off the lot, so I need to make sure it's adequately insured.

I like that it goes over the top of the cab for 2 reasons: 1. With the sliding rear window, it offers access to the cab from the tent. 2. It should provide better protection in case of rain. It is the first pickup bed tent I have seen that does this, but it's something I've been wishing for...
