  1. Disappointing update email

FYI The XLT only gets the drop in bed liner with the Luxury package. My plane jane XLT does not have it.
  2. My 2024 Maverick is built! Anyone else?

To get my window sticker I had to use this Another Window Sticker lookup tool - add your VIN at the end https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=
  3. Tool rolls

We just have a really large roll that accommodates so much more. Sorry for the confusion.
  4. Tool rolls

For long trips I carry a DeWalt 205 piece tool kit and an Irwin 8-pice plier set in a roll up pouch https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-Mechanics-Tool-Set-205-Piece-DWMT81534/304217698...
  5. Floor liners - recommendations?

I also went with Smartliner. I have used them in 3 cars now. Always fit great.
  6. Car wash L button

I thought that the "L" is for low gear. Right???
  7. Mexican pricing

When I see cool cars like the VW Saviero in a 2 door, I get even more frustrated with the overbearing EPA restrictions that don't make sense and keep us from being able to have one in the USA.
  8. Has anyone had to replace a windshield? Any issues with recalibration of the collision avoidance sensor?

Can the rock chips be repaired? I did one on my Maverick already with the Loctite windshield repair kit less than $10 and looks great.
  9. Just drove my new 2024 Maverick XLT home! Thought I would share my window sticker and pics and such ❤️

Looks like you got a great price at $2k under MSRP. Congrats. The fees are state dependent and might be higher where she is, but they are not bad as a national average.
  10. How was your dealer experience!

I would be honest with my review, If the question is salesman related and he did good then mark accordingly. If the question is dealer related mark accordingly. Whether or not the salesman gets dinged for a bad review is between him and the dealership. Maybe if good salesman get dinged because...
  11. Anyone have theirs go into Neutral, seemingly on its own?

Mine switched to neutral going down a highway and it was my long leg that caused it. First time I had no idea what made it happen. Second time it was obvious to me. There has not been a third time. It has never happened to my short legged wife.
  12. How was your dealer experience!

FYI, My experiences with Granger Ford were great. Everything was agreed up front and in writing. The doc fee was $180 and the transfer title fee was $35. That was all that was added to the agreed truck price, They did not try to upsell me on anything. The "finance" part of the buying...
  13. Backup Camera Blues

Hmmmmm....train horn connected to back up sensors...everyone for miles will know you are backing into a parking spot. How cool would that be?
  14. Sad Maverick Owner. So mad at Ford...

If you do get the truck repaired and not replaced remember to file a DIMINISHED VALUE claim. Also file a claim for a rent car and give back the loaner car if the dealer insists. It will be a sad day for you if the dealer reports the loaner car as stolen because you took the advice off a forum...
  15. Backup Camera Blues

If you got an XLT with the Co-Pilot360 then there should be cross traffic alert that work with the rear camera. I just carry an air horn for when my wife drives and as she is backing up and starts to get close I blast the horn. I wonder why she wont let me near the Maverick any more....
  16. Ford back to early 80's with Maverick pricing...

FYI - All Mavericks and all other cars come with a backup camera. A backup camera has been mandated by the US since 2018.
  17. Picked up my new Maverick and drove 4,087 miles home

I don't remember seeing another Maverick. My apologies. What group were you in? I was in group 4.
  18. Ford back to early 80's with Maverick pricing...

What let in the imports of the 80s was not the a la cart pricing as you mentioned. It was a combination of gas prices going up, fears over gas shortages, increasing EPA regulations, and raising demand for more fuel efficient cars. This caught the big 3 off guard and they scrambled to figure out...
  19. Picked up my new Maverick and drove 4,087 miles home

I went with the BAK Revolver X4S. We like it a lot. We also have the same on on my F150. We had the hard fold up kind before and found that we tend to use the bed for oversized stuff a bit and the hard fold up covers will block the rear window. The hard roll up is much easier to open and does...
  20. First issue on our week-old 2024 Lariat - Windshield washer fluid

Ours did that in about 9-10 days of owning the Maverick. To be fair we drove it about 3,000 miles by then in rain, snow, ice, melted snow and ice, and blizzards and used a lot of fluid. I found that pouring a gallon of wiper fluid in the wiper fluid plastic container and all over everything...
