SC would do better if it had an EV or hybrid.

I just got the same email as it seems a lot of other folks had. Week of Aug 22 build. I had ordered on Oct 26, hybrid Lariat lux with everything. Initially was scheduled Aug 15, then Aug 29, now Aug 22. We will see :)

Had an Aug 15 scheduled date, but chat told today it's now Aug 29. The weird thing is the delivery date is now...earlier? Weird.

Nice! I was wondering if there was a close drop off and that's why they felt comfortable with a quick shipping time vs other regions. Hopefully by September we will have one more Maverick in Colorado Springs :)

They make changes on the fly. The later you are the model year, the better chance of having a vehicle built with the issues from earlier models already addressed.

Do they usually reveal pricing and options before that date?

Awesome! I was definitely not expecting to get scheduled. I guess they decided it was time to get all the Lariat Lux Hybrids scheduled.

I got a VIN today, 8/15 scheduled build date. I ordered 10/26, Lariat Lux Hybrid with everything. No idea how they allocate but I'm happy.

All I know I'll have my rollover 2022 order and will be putting in another order too. Should have them both by 2025.

Does that mean nothing is rolled over so you just hope you get to the front of the line?

Given the Mavericks success there will 100% be hybrids and EV small trucks/similar builds coming to market. If the Santa Cruz had a hybrid, I'd buy that over the Maverick. Mostly because it's nicer on the interior, and the bed is better (get that storage underneath Ford, c'mon!). Ford will be...

They should have gone with the most modern screen/sync tech, at least with the Lariat. Didn't make any sense to deploy something that is known to have issues.

Curious why or what makes an order P2. I'm Oct 24 Lariat Lux with everything and am P2 since a month ago.

Ford just had to recall a bunch of Mach E EVs due to battery issues. Wonder if hybrid is the same issue.

Still no scheduled date and seeing things already pushed into August :/. Going to look at some Santa Cruz this weekend
