hey luke, thanks for the tip on the H&R springs. i was waiting on eibach's.... i know the maverick is unique as it has a "left" & "right" wind direction on the rear springs. would it be wise to just buy the upper and lower escape insulators before installing springs? how does the spring rate...

i will be buying Konig (again) because they usually have the lightest weight wheel in any given size. the 18X8.5 i am considering (if i get lowering springs before i lose interest in modifying the truck) are less than 18# each. however from prior experience , Konig wheels have the worst quality...

Alex, i glossed over your site (i had not yet been introduced to realtruck) and noticed Eibach in your product line. There are many of us here that are waiting for which ever manufacturer that is first to release a lowering spring kit for the FWD version of the maverick (both turbo and hybrid)...

cool to see another houston guy here. i'm not taking mine anywhere near the level you've taken yours but my first mod will be to lower and align mine if anyone ever gets FWD/2.0 springs on the market.

grossly overpriced add-on's is demeaning enough. i removed a hubcap and no useless wheel locks. the tinted rear windows and back glass appear identical to my "non tinted" example. nitrogen fill is bogus, but at least you usually get a green valve stem cap of some sort, right? and the surface...

i am waiting to buy wheels/tires until mine is lowered and aligned. that same sparco wheel has caught my eye several times. i think it will be a great choice. what size tire are you considering? my thought so far is 235/55X18.

Over 3500 miles on mine now. In the colorful and entertaining Alief area. And a friend just took delivery in the exact same spec as mine but hybrid from a June order from DeMontrond. They got him several $$$$ extra on tint, nitrogen, wheel locks and paint protection. I hated to point it out to...

i saw your note today so observed mine on the way home from work. no way do i hit 3K rpm. actually not at any point on my 30 mile one way daily commute..

a note sent to me directly from eibach last week wasn’t very promising. maybe may at the earliest. this is the first new vehicle in decades that i didn’t already have the springs before the car. i usually change springs, align and swap wheels/tires on day one!

mine had over 3 miles showing but didnt think to look at the hour counter.

i currently have the lane assist feature set to "Alert". i believe i have felt it "alert" me several times without provocation. it feels as you describe your thumping.

i haven’t pulled the trigger on wheels yet because eibach does not have springs yet. my plan is to adapt to a porsche fuchs style. i have found bolt on adapters that i can have made 35mm thick front and 45mm rear with 130mm bolt circle for about $400. fwiw, i’m a porsche guy so it fits me.
