just remembered i have a reflective/black tailgate lettering kit i bought that i didn't use.
i'll bring it with me to the get together. buy me a burger or a beer or something and it's yours.
i used my fordpass points and bought them from www.theoemparts.com which is Long/McArthur Ford. i got 12 oil, 6 air and 3 cabin filters if i recall correctly. 5 air filters are still on backorder after a few months but they did send 1 which i will need to install at next service.
the first time i ever stepped foot in the dealer was the day i picked up the truck. and i was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. also, all my communication was by e-mail, my preferred method.
michael hungate was the salesman.
a year ago when i was ordering mine i had planned to go with the hybrid. after researching it a bit a learned the hybrid would cause delays and i needed a new vehicle ASAP, so i ordered the exact options i always intended but went for the ecoboost. no regrets and every since my first oil change...
Love your T!
i had an A once and just recently sold my all original washington blue 36 coupe. i am third owner of a late 40's hot rod build 34 truck with supercharged (since 1952) 8ba.
i sent a note to southwell to ensure they would be welcoming at that date and time. i had planned to take my grandson to a auto-x event that weekend in the maverick so not sure i'm "in" yet....
thanks for posting your results. mine didn’t come in as good.
fyi, i build and race old porsche crap and have alignment and corner weight stuff built especially to have the fastest old 911’s in the world - so the specs are meaningful. thanks again for sharing.
have you aligned yours after the spring install?
mine has lots of toe in (rear) that cant be adjusted out. and it must have been that way from day one, lowering springs shouldn't affect toe on the FWD turbo rear suspension design.
i chose rims for mine sorting by lightest weight first (and then by $$) and found these 18" konig freeforms to be just over 18#. the tire i selected is wider than stock (and 29#) but i am still indicating 30.5 MPG daily commuting my turbo. 7K miles and only left the city limits once.
i’ve touched two mavericks. yours and mine. your awd has unlimited rear suspension adjustment compared to my fwd turbo. mine has zero adjustability and it is like a subframe design.
yours does have toe adjustment and the potential to use eccentric camber bolts.
(or did that not work?)

i know brian southwell from porsche club (he is a 356 guy!) and i'm sure he would be accommodating. i have been to otto's for events many times over the years and what they have going for them is the room.
FYI, the group putting on the otto's events will charge $5 for the "show off" parking if...
i saw that you are in houston so thought i should share that Helfman Ford did me right. i did $500 deposit (which i wanted to do - to feel i had a leg to stand on when it arrived if there was any "funny business"...)
i had the fastest order to delivery time at the close of 2021.
no extra...
