The Mexican railroad that picks up Mavericks will continue to do so. Transferring to US railroads won't be a problem. Most truck transport drivers in the country are not union. Some localized urban areas may have some difficulty but most of the country won't. Biggist risk is if it is a prolonged...
Truck delivery for most of the vehicles usually aren't teamster, which is mainly active near ports and the northeast. Since they are only striking 3 plants right now I don't see the railroads not transporting other vehicles. Bigger problem will be if they strike engine or transmission plants.
Remember, your order is with the dealer not Ford. Ford provides info to your dealer who is your primary source of info. Ford provides some courtesy info to customers but building the vehicles is their priority.
I added almost everything in the BAP on my Lariat for a lot less. De-chromed taillights, black grille bar, black interior pieces, black seats, blacked out Ford emblem front and rear, Lariat wheels painted black. Only thing missing was the headlight treatment and there isn't much black out for them.
F150 just got some "tesla" style aftermarket screen replacements. Doubt anything available for Maverick. Sync 4 on the Lariat might get one in the future.
You stated 75 mph to 85 mph - that's not break-in speed. Plus it is recommended that there be a good mix of low speed and mid speed. The manual quote says 'braking', tow and shifting - I was just copying it.
Not following break-in on every vehicle doesn't cause a problem but enough that it...
I think the 46% was over a 4 year period.
A 32 hour work week is ridiculous. Just as many studies show productivity overall drops because if they can produce the same amount of product in fewer hours then they weren't trying very hard. Plus with the mechanization at assembly plants has made...
I know you will say breaking-in a vehicle doesn't matter but the Owner's Manual specifies:
Your vehicle requires a break-in period. For the first 1,000 miles (1,600 km), avoid driving at high speeds, heavy braking, aggressive shifting or using your vehicle to tow.
So if your engine or...
No flame just pointing out it is childish to say you'll never order another domestic or again because of one problem. I've owned many domestic and foreign cars over 50 years and most never had an issue but a few, foreign and domestic, have had issues.
Yep, every single domestic car breaks down before 1,000 miles and there has never been a Toyota with an issue.
And of course I'm sure you followed the engine break-in guide in the owner's manual.
