I can't say about other brands, I really don't know.
Note that the EB mavericks hold several more gallons of gas in the tank than the hybrids.
When I fill up, it most always say 515-535 miles to empty.
My 2023 FWD Maverick hybrid got about 5 mpg more than my AWD. I attribute about 3 mpg loss to...
It's rare to see snow in my part of N.C., so not much change of that. I actually got AWD on my Maverick because many of my job sites have soft, loose sand, along with steep grade changes.
Feel like doing another video on snowy roads? 🤠
I have made this video to set the record straight, hopefully once and for all.
This is my first and probably only YouTube video (my Wife did the editing). It's not highly refined, but it clearly shows when the driveshaft to the rear differential engages and disengages.
There is a tremendous...
We really appreciate this wright up. Even though most of will never have this problem, I think we have all heard about it and we all appreciate someone who is on the line explaining what you have been finding out there and telling us why the professionals do what the do.
The 25 configurator is not running anymore, so I cant prove it. But when I ordered mine, they were the same price. Now the Hybrid in 1K more and AWD is a $2220.00 option on both the hybrid and EB. The 26 configurator has AWD as an option on both the Hybrid and EB for both XL and XLT. It's...
When I bought mine, the hybrids were cheaper than the EB. Ford keeps changing it around. First the hybrid was less for two years, then they were the same, then the EB was less. It's gone back and forth several times. I'd still take the fuel milage and drivetrain reliability of the hybrid any day.
This is the first I've ever heard of the hybrids (of any kind) stranding people out in the middle of nowhere. I've been driving hybrids for 15 years, and not once have I ever been stranded, as a matter of fact, they have been proven to be more reliable in both my experience and statistically...
I've said it before, but as quick as the 25 Maverick hybrids AWD's are now, I don't know why anyone would buy the 2.0L, unless you had to have a Lobo or Tremor, or maybe you wanted something you could really hop up.
I love mine and it's loaded down with tools. I've owned some really fast cars...
I don't know. I am a former mechanic, so I'm pretty good a swagging these things, the nuts do have plastic locking rings, so I felt comfortable doing it by hand.
It's a real pain actually, getting the old bar out is the issue. I'm 61, but even as a young man, I would not want to attempt this job without a car lift.
I don't know what you are asking as far as "torque figures". If you mean deflection rates, I don't know, as there is so much...
I just installed the Steeda bar on my 2025 AWD hybrid, it fits just fine. Note that this is NOT the lobo bar that Steeda also sells. The lobo bar has the same Ford part # as the Hybrid sway bar in my findings (pointed out to me by Sticks). I just posted about my install in another tread.
So I got my Steeda sway bar for an early Christmas gift from my wife. The Steeda site says this sway bar only applies to 2.0L AWD mavericks, as they haven't got their hands on a 25 AWD Maverick yet. Here is proof that it does fit the Hybrid AWD's also.
Even though this Steeda bar is almost 1mm...
