  1. 2026 - lane KEEPING vs lane CENTERING

Yes, I frequently turn it off, fighting steering is distracting, tiring, & can't be good on steering components. Thanks.
  2. 2026 - lane KEEPING vs lane CENTERING

Agree. However I do get a tad confused with lane "centering" vs "keeping"? I use Adaptive cruise w/lane keeping on road trips most of the time. If needing to take eyes off road for a moment, I ensure there are distinct lane markings ahead, & trust the system to keep me in lane while I open a...
  3. More Math Mayhem

    This is correct, basic math.
  4. Auto hold

My25MY Mav was on dealer lot by March 2025. My salesman held it for me for a month before I could return to Louisville to pick up late April 2025. So it was an early build? I've been backing trailers, travel trailers, 5th wheels, since we started RVing in 1981 so I don't miss it. Had this...
  5. Ford Maverick then vs now — same name, totally different vibe 😂

I had a 70' Maverick, 2-door, gold color, then a 1971 4-dr Maverick this same green color. That 6 cyl engine was so incredibly simple to work on & so tough.
  6. Auto hold

Not unless you have the trailer assist feature as you show. Glen Baker in post #5 shows the location I have - 25MY Lariet Hybrid, 4K tow package, but No trailer assist. Auto Hold button can obviously be located several different locations. Maybe they move "Auto Hold" depending on paint color 🤔.
  7. Auto shut off

Good point, tks for reminding me. Better to delete it with ForScan or the switch. Forgot about the BLIS & rear sensors.
  8. Break in period?

Glad you guys are saying g Bourbon, it Whiskey! Being from KY MUST be bourbon, whiskey word a no no.
  9. Auto shut off

Forscan can permatently delete it. I've done it on four Ford vehicles ranging in years from 2016-2025. No hardware change. If you have tow package I've heard plugging in a trailer dongle (7-pin or 4-pin) will accomplish same thing, truck thinks you're towing a trailer, inhibiting Auto Shutoff. I...
  10. Sunroof Option

That's what I do. Open rear sliding glass and crack moon roof. Best air flow, very nice.
  11. Selling my 2023 back to the dealer

I've been driving 64 years, 1st car a 56' Ford, many cars since then, mostly Fords. Some good, some not. My 1st Hybrid was a 2008 Fird Escape, drove 9 years, 95k miles, still had original 12v battery, original tires barely worn, two minor recalls. Likely the best, most reliable of all my rides...
  12. Anyone else out there make regular use of N?

I don't find it amazing, any topic related to how the eCVT works relative to the P-R-N-L-D selections, as well as drive mode characteristics is great. Glad it's available on this forum for those interested. Like James, I've been married since 1968.
  13. Anyone else out there make regular use of N?

Spot on. I use Park mode only on level ground. On incline, exactly as you.
  14. Anyone else out there make regular use of N?

I also am conscious of the Park Brake Pawl, especially after the Mav recall on this. I prefer foot brake, then Neutral, Park Brake, then exit. No dependence on just the Parking brake pawl holding. Holds true on other vehicles besides Maverick. Some will argue that's a lot steps when you could...
  15. Anyone else out there make regular use of N?

I disabled seatbelt warning with ForScan immediately after purching my 25MY hybrid in 2025, so front/rear seatbelt warnings are non existent. But we wear them always. I'm now guessing after your comment that the default seatbelt warning may mask (override) the msg to return to previous mode, so...
  16. Anyone else out there make regular use of N?

I'm exactly like you, drive very conservatively & use Eco mode mostly for regen. As far as Eco by default, no way yet to change default I'm aware of. However, after pressing 'Start' Button, a 2 second msg pops up on my 25MY screen asking if I want to return to Eco mode "Yes" or "No". You can...
  17. Anyone else out there make regular use of N?

Double "ditto" on Slippery mode vs Neutral. I seldom use, but it coasts like a sled on snow. I've gotten used to the shifter, appreciate the tiny space it consumes. Every vehicle has a different layout; just a matter of adjusting.
  18. I have a developer/beta version of ForScan that has the 2025!

Hope so. Just ran across the post decided to respond. ForScan is awesome.
  19. I have a developer/beta version of ForScan that has the 2025!

My 25MY hybrid - I simply zeroed out the four IPC values & seatbelt warning is gone. I have Forscan paid license if makes any difference?
  20. Check Engine Light - No Code Present

Amen on color change, quick glance hard to tell difference.
