DOT does not approve any lights. That stamp means the manufacturer states that it meets or exceeds DOT requirements. They don't inspect any lights.

Grand marquis has an 80's style marshmallow suspension. Basically a pillow suspension. They were not made to handle.

This why I will never go to any dealer, except for warranty/recalls. Never went to a dealer for an oil change. Those brake pads should last AT LEAST 100K miles, unless you are always jamming on the brakes. Stealerships.....
