Nope that is not tinned copper. What you are seeing in the video is a small piece of red plastic insulation that he did not completely remove. Wire is totally aluminum.
Same here. It can be rather jolting when it happens, and it isn't all the time. Also I have noticed that if I turn off the Maverick and wait inside of it for a while, sometimes when I step on the brake pad before turning the key to on, the pedal acts as if it is hard and requires extra effort...
It would be MUCH easier to get used to driving around on just rear brakes than this because it would be consistent. As I have stated, and many others, the big problem is they are not consistent even during a single drive. I could get use to anything if it acted the same way every time.
Got my hybrid 1/7/22 and have only put 3500 miles on it after retiring in late December. No problems with it as far as I know regarding the traction battery or the 12 volt battery.
