One year and 30,000 miles on my 23 (16 months since i ordered my 22) I would not change anything. Had to install an autodimming mirror which I thought would be standard issue on XLT Lariat Hybrid. I use the keypad more often than I did on my Fusion.
Mine is holding up very well and the phone is perfectly positioned. I may stick down some liner material to reduce the clunk of the plastic and sliding around of anything in it. Also, my previous complaint is that the phone holder arms rattle unless my phone is in it...or I just hang my keys there.
When I ordered mine, I didn't like the Ford option with the bolt holes and it was too early for any aftermarket options. I did add the black mudflaps with points, but I have the carbonized gray with black out package. Now I think these flares would look like too much. The mudflaps are effective...
The setting is rightmost of the three in the back of the lower console...on my hybrid it "holds" and pops when accelerator is applied. Keeps me sitting still and not creeping at a stop. You can switch it off.
Update: ultimately it took four visits. They ordered a new sensor, and upon disassembly found that the bracket was broken. When we installed new bracket with a new sensor, the system is performing flawlessly. Based on a handful of other comments about a loose bracket, I would check the bracket...
So, if anybody still cares everybody was wrong. To be clear, this failed at 3000 miles and again at 8000 miles after being fixed… all of my driving has been in spring and summer clear weather and the system would simply crap out.
Now at 15,000 miles I have been driving with a system that has...
For me, I enjoyed my early CX9 with all-wheel-drive for looks, power and comfort… I thought it set a benchmark for today's SUVs. My most recent fave was my top end hybrid fusion… Nicest car I ever owned. Now, very happy with my hybrid Maverick and the 35-45 mpg. People talking about "I need a...
I have had it at the dealer now three times, and they are going to replace the cruise control module. Will let you know if that works. My dealer is Weber Ford in Granite City IL. Service manager is Rob Smith.
I'm giving this (Type B) a try. I'm just as interested in the expanded holder as the little pocket behind the screen is not particularly useful. Anything in it just slides around. The only time I use it is when I drop the keys in it at the hand car wash.
