  1. Buschur's 2.0 EcoBoost air intake dyno'd and ready. +26 whp and +17 ft lbs of torque

I wonder if they did this since they expect the platform to tow and haul more than the other chassis' that is shared with the 2.0t? Extra safe!
  2. Buschur's 2.0 EcoBoost air intake dyno'd and ready. +26 whp and +17 ft lbs of torque

I do agree. Once the car is moving, the effect is minimal. I only brought it up due to the pricing of materials. But the updated price solved that issue! No heatshield doesnt make me want to buy it any less over another that does include one :)
  3. Buschur's 2.0 EcoBoost air intake dyno'd and ready. +26 whp and +17 ft lbs of torque

Yea, I took at look at the Focus ST intakes too as a comparison. Full intake from TB to filter, heat shield (or full box, depending on brand), all range from $300-$400. I get this is the first to market but sheesh....
  4. Buschur's 2.0 EcoBoost air intake dyno'd and ready. +26 whp and +17 ft lbs of torque

Awesome gains! I have been looking to getting one of these just for the noise improvements, so the power increase is just a bonus. I am a bit surprised on the price though as it looks like an extremely simple setup. Single pipe with a drilled hole, no mounting, for $350 is a bit steep. Maybe if...
  5. Hmm.. pricing on this sticker sure is sketchy

could be the updated 17" with 235's. Not sure about the other two though
  6. 🚨My Hybrid Maverick window sticker with MPG!! 37 combined / 42 city / 33 highway

The facts I have derived from this 17 page thread - 1. There is still people who don’t know how hybrid systems work 2. There is still people who get mad that not everyone chooses the same engine as them 3. The hybrid is perfect if you like the hybrid 4. The ecoboost is perfect if you like the...
  7. 🚨My Hybrid Maverick window sticker with MPG!! 37 combined / 42 city / 33 highway

The torque of the electric motor helps get the car going and takes a lot of the strain off the ICE. This is a huge savings. In addition, braking regenerates the battery faster which helps with your next start. Definitely not uncommon to see higher city mpg than highway.
  8. 🚨My Hybrid Maverick window sticker with MPG!! 37 combined / 42 city / 33 highway

Hope this helps! It doesn’t touch the back seat but gets close. Don’t mind my dog seat cover :)
  9. Weird Issue with Digital Speedometer Location. Possible to move?

There are other screens you can turn on in the menu. I think theres off road, awd, etc.
  10. 🚨My Hybrid Maverick window sticker with MPG!! 37 combined / 42 city / 33 highway

Same reason why I went EB. Most of my commute is freeway so the difference is negligible for the dramatic increase in power and awd. I also averaged more the the epa rated figures on my 1500 miles journey home. Hopefully the hybrid can also beat these figures!
  11. 2.0 AWD Real World MPG???

That’s super odd. Perhaps your 12V battery is bad and that’s the cause of the no auto start stop? But that wouldn’t explain the low MPG. My normal driving is still above 25 regularly.
  12. 2.0 AWD Real World MPG???

I managed over 500 to the tank this past weekend. A bit of an extreme one off but it’s possible! Drove from Moab Utah to Phoenix Arizona (450miles) with still 70 miles til empty on the display! My complete trip from Denver to Phoenix averaged 31.5. Plenty of 80mph cruising and even 90 during the...
  13. 245/65/17 Toyo Open Country AT3 or 245/65/17 Falken Wildpeaks AT3?

What’s the weight difference? 5lb? Or is it closer to 10?
  14. ALPHAequipt Foxtrot 17" Aftermarket Wheels on the MAVERICK!!

Looks awesome!!! Any noticeable difference in driving? I wanted to go wildpeaks over KO2 for the weight but these just look so good
  15. 245/65R17 Toyo Open Country AT III tires installed + MPG results on Maverick XLT 2.0 AWD

Debating this too! I love the look of this setup but with a lift, I dont want to wish I had gone up a size...or two ;)
  16. PSA: oil change on FX4 Maverick requires skid plate panels removal

Subarus don’t haven’t had head gasket issues since the early 2000s. And back then the oil filter wasn’t in the bay like the photo. The newer models are fine. I think Subaru gave us the easy oil filter since they knew changing spark plugs is a huge PITA as the trade off 🤣🤣
  17. "AMAZING!" Review of 2022 Maverick XLT FX4 2.0 EcoBoost by TheStraightPipes

Awesome review. I was anxiously awaiting their review. I like that the ecoboost allows a bit of brake boost and that it actually helps. Other things I noticed is their review of the ride quality. I was worried the FX4 pack would just kill the ride similar to the Ranger. But they gave very high...
  18. Standard vs FX4 Drive Modes: Normal, Tow/Haul, Slippery, Mud & Ruts, Sand, Eco and Sport

Thats what I like to hear!! Congrats on the switch
