  6. Disable backup sensors -- DIY how-to

I have a 1up bike rack installed. Unfortunately the backup sensors think it's an obstruction. You can disable the sensors through the menu but it resets every time you start the car. It's super easy to unplug all 4 sensors with 1 connector. I've confirmed that the cross traffic alert system...
  7. Love my Maverick, but it's annoying to use for Uber

Why is everyone trying to shame you? Personally, IDGAF. You’re eventually going to help contribute to overpopulation and traffic reduction.
  8. REV Hard Folding Tonneau posts too long

Alright I figured it out, the two rivets at the top of the video were blocking the slidey part. I tapped it with a hammer a few times and it shaved enough plastic off so I can move it all the way now. Pretty shitty design for $1200
  9. REV Hard Folding Tonneau posts too long

The nut doesn't slide, the channel behind it does, neither channel slides up far enough to recieve the rod *so to speak*

I thought about it, but one end is machined for the rubber tip and the other is glued in to the plastic piece. Any chance you have a link for that other thread?

the rod is supposed to fit in that slot, it can’t because it’s too long. I’m trying to see if anyone else here has one and can measure theirs
  13. REV Hard Folding Tonneau posts too long

EDIT-solved with hammer Anyone else have this cover? https://accessories.ford.com/products/rev-hard-folding-in-rail-tonneau-bed-cover The posts that hold it upright don't seem right (see picture). Everything else fit's fine so I'm wondering if they assembled it with the wrong ones.
  14. Interior rearview mirror restricting forward visibility

I added a bulky auto dimming mirror so it's even worse for me now. Just ordered a gentex extension mount off of amazon so I'm hoping it can get the arm far enough away from the plastic camera shroud to make a difference. Will report back when it comes in. Cant post a link but search for...
  15. The stars aligned so here I am

Greeting Y'all. I've been eying mavericks for the last few months or so but didn't want to order one until I checked the ergonomics (I'm 6'4 with a long torso so good fitment is hard to come by.) On my way home yesterday (I drove an old honda element) I was fighting this nasty rattle from...
