Sold the mav but stripped all the accessories off first.
Functionally great condition, shows some wear and tear from 2 years of usage. The 2 plastic clips on the top have been replaced with a strip of L-track.

I have a 1up bike rack installed. Unfortunately the backup sensors think it's an obstruction. You can disable the sensors through the menu but it resets every time you start the car.
It's super easy to unplug all 4 sensors with 1 connector. I've confirmed that the cross traffic alert system...
Alright I figured it out, the two rivets at the top of the video were blocking the slidey part. I tapped it with a hammer a few times and it shaved enough plastic off so I can move it all the way now.
Pretty shitty design for $1200
Can someone who has a working one take a measurement when they get a chance? Mine is 16-1/4 from the tip of the rubber to the point where the metal rod meets the plastic
I thought about it, but one end is machined for the rubber tip and the other is glued in to the plastic piece.
Any chance you have a link for that other thread?

The posts that hold it upright don't seem right (see picture). Everything else fit's fine so I'm wondering if they assembled it with the wrong ones.
I added a bulky auto dimming mirror so it's even worse for me now. Just ordered a gentex extension mount off of amazon so I'm hoping it can get the arm far enough away from the plastic camera shroud to make a difference.
