I had the same experience. My 2022 order was built 9/1/22. I got the "your 2023 order is confirmed on 9/20/22. I took delivery of my 2022 Maverick on 9/22/22. I did not intentionally make any order for a 2023 Maverick. So the email about the 2023 order is a mystery.

There is a thread on this, but here's mine. It's a color that is very hard to reproduce accurately on a computer screen, and it looks quite different depending on the lighting - i.e. sunlight or cloudy day.

I had a build week of 8/29. Build actually started 8/23, and is built as of 9/1. Waiting shipment! This on a 10/13/21 Hybrid XLT + 360 order.

My 10/13 XLT + 360 went into production 8/23. When will it be finished? Who knows.

Got my VIN in late May, currently schedule to build 8/29. At least 90 days. :-(

I just got a quote from Wickstrom Ford of Barrington IL (Chicago suburbs) for $8000 over MSRP for a Lariat Hybrid they have on the lot. I hope this wasn't a situation where someone made an order and Wickstrom raised the price after the fact.

My dealer said "3 to 4 months" until DELIVERY mid-Oct 2021. Total lie. I'm a first time Ford customer, after driving mostly Honda's for 40 years, and that was not a good way to start a relationship. Hopefully the truck is reliable when it shows up - I have a build date of late Aug.

Called Ford, told my XLT Hybrid build date is being moved from 6/27 to 8/22. This for an 10/13/21 order. I have a VIN.

Ha! My birthday is 8/6, that would be great. Not getting my hopes up, they'd have to push it all the way to Wisconsin, which will take weeks. Very slow deliveries to the North!

10/13/21 order. No email, but called Ford last Friday. Got a VIN & build week of 6/27. XLT hybrid with 360, hitch & 110/400w outlet. Cactus Grey. Maybe I'll get my truck before summer is over!
