I don’t know why Ford has that requirement.
I now have about 6,000 miles towing the Maverick. Most of the time I wait the 15 minutes. Other times I have not. I’ve driven it out of the way.
So far no problem.
Over 3500 miles towing now. I have let it sit for 15 minutes most of the time. At some camp sites were I had to back in I had to move the maverick out of the road after disconnecting.
The weird thing is that after towing for 6 hours you are supposed to stop, shift into D then back to N to...
