I have the inside box version of this cover. Works great, very minimal leaks (only leaks at the corner of the tailgate). I got this version so it fits between the bed rack I am getting.
I had to replace a windshield last week because of a stress crack. I guess the body flexes enough to crack the windshield. No rocks hit it and you can't even feel the crack outside or inside the cab.
There is a draw bar kit for towing the XLT/Lariat behind an RV. That's a lot of weight to pull, so if you could weld on to the draw bars you could technically put a winch plate on

Just came back from the tire shop. They wouldn't let me roll out with Goodyear Wrangler Workhorse AT's in 245/70R17 because of fender rub. I'll have to wait for my 2" levelling kit to arrive Friday.
