My 2025 installed it automatically a few days ago. I got numerous 'warnings' on my display what day and time it would happen and warning that my vehicle may not be available for use during the update. It also gave the option to reschedule.
Because I believe it would or should be obvious to a mechanic that A/S/S is disabled when the vehicle doesn't shut down when stopped and when the A/S/S button doesn't toggle the feature on or off or it doesn't reset to ON after restarting the vehicle.
Thanks, it's reassuring to know that FDRS can't tell the difference before/ after a Forscan change and that you've had your vehicle serviced many times with Forscan mods with no issues. My concern was that it would be obvious to a mechanic that A/S/S is disabled when the vehicle doesn't shut...
I disabled Auto Stop / Start within days of getting my 2025 Mav with Forscan. I still have about 5K miles before it's due for scheduled maintenance but I was wondering if others who have made Forscan mods revert back to factory settings before bringing it in for service. It would be obvious to...

Thanks, my vehicle is only six months old but I'm already thinking of extended coverage when the factory bumper/bumper runs out. I am particularity concerned with computer tech related repairs on this high tech vehicle. Sadly, I just checked the Granger site but their warranty doesn't appear to...
Really? That's great!! I assume you mean the 'Cigarette Lighter' accessory plug? I would like to hear from others to see if this works for them as well.
I used Forscan to disable Auto/Stop Start on my 2025 Maverick.
I'm Mircrosoft Certified Professional, HP Expert and an A+ Certified PC tech. I'm also a bit OCD so I tried to take detailed notes.
Here's a copy of my notes; I can't say they are perfect but I believe they should be helpful...
Nice reference but personally I wouldn't like anything that would show a 'fault' light on the dash or especially disable the blind spot monitoring feature. I used Forscan.
If you mean does Forscan disable Auto Stop/Start on 25+ year models the answer is yes. I did it the first week I owned my Maverick with a build date of Nov 2025
