I believe Ford is doing that.. they actually have a quota to meet as to retail buyers( 80 or 85%) and have to explain to Ford why the buyer didn't pick it up. A phone call to Ford seems to be helping some. I'll do it right there if they pull that crap on me.. And yes they do take away...
