One thing that no one else on here mentioned was water. I drilled two small holes in the backs of the lenses near the bottom so that water (which will get into these things) can drain out. Keep in mind that the two-sided foam tape on the back is going up against the raised grooves of the factory...
HAHA! You don't have to be old to love the Doors! Wait...I'm 45....is that old?? Crap, I guess it is. The markers are wired and light up very nicely. I did that by using a wiring harness that came with one of the Chinese LED versions, which piggybacks into the existing wiring with connectors for...
Hey all! I wanted to follow up on this because I said I would. After the Ford dealer was done with my truck, I learned a couple of things. First, is that they did not care at all about the lift. In fact, the service manager said, "I like the way that sits, it looks good." They also did a factory...
The ones with the reflectors are made (or packaged) by a couple of different brands now. Here is the kit I was talking about that has those flares, along with mudflaps and inner liners. A great deal, really. Just no longer under the Mabbett name.
Hey all. I found this site (Mavericktruckclub) by looking up info on lifting my Maverick. Now that I have done it, I feel like I would be a good fit for this group. I look forward to getting to know the group. I believe there is much to gain from our collective experience. Cheers!
Ha! That is funny that you brought these up. This was literally the second option I was looking at! Ultimately, I went with the Bushwackers because I like the bolt look. I do like these as well, though. Those same flares can be had by Maxina (I think it is, or maybe xipopix) in a combo that...
Here are a few more angles of the flares. Make sure you look up Husky Liners flares now. They bought out the Bushwacker name. I had to run 1 1/4" hubcentric spacers to fill these out. Without that, the tires look way too far in. With the right wheel offset, it would be fine. I just happen to...
I do have a couple of complaints about the Husky liners, though. They fit and look great. But I paid $300 for them, and I must say, I don't feel that the quality is twice as good as the Mabbett ones would have been. First of all, the plastic is smooth (not textured) and will scratch VERY easily...
Hey all. I can vouch for the Husky Liners fender flares, Mabbett hood deflector (with LEDs), and the rear roof protector from xipopix. None of these said that they would specifically fit the 25-26 body style, but....they do!
Anyway....off to the dealership today to have them do it. We will see what they say. I talked to my commercial fleet salesman beforehand, and he reassured me that they won't take any notes that would void my warranty in the future or anything. He knew my plan was to level/lift it right off the...
Hey all. I wanted to weigh in on this. I did a homebrew kit for mine, but I did use components from HRG, and I must say....CLASS ACT! They really know their stuff. I ended up going up about 1.75" in the front and nothing in the rear. For some reason, this thing came with a really high rear end...
Hey there! Way to go on the tremor. Love the color. I was on the fence and ended up going with the hybrid.....Then I spent about a grand to make it LOOK like a tremor haha! I love the MPG since I run around all day bidding jobs, but honestly, if I had to do it over again, I would have gone...
