Hi I Been Portland Texas for about 2 years now, love it. I'd like to join the club here if that's okay with y"all.
I've got a 2023 XLT Hybrid in Cyber Orange, painted stripes somewhat like a BOSS 302 Mustang. I even added BOSS 2.5 to the top of the side stripes. I posted a couple of stories...
First off wonderful job on not just the execution but the look.
It reminds me a great deal of the horseshoe shifter I had in my 72 El Camino, always love it.
As several have said you may want to look into getting a patent, as even though not functional shifter is a very nice aesthetic.
That...
Wow, you certainly have me beat, I tried to keep my weight closer to what Ford called out as the limit.
Before we took the Maverick on the trip I looked for information from someone else who had towed at or next to the hybrids limit.
All I found was EcoBoost powered Maverick's towing close to...
Hello, we
We had a 24' Mercedes motorhome really nice, but we didn't tow a car. So we had to drive it everywhere (not so much fun). The popup is OK but we're on the older side and finding it a bit small for us for long trips. We're thinking of either selling it and doing hotels or maybe...
Hi, there are exactly 6 screws holding it on.
They blend in very well with the smoke tinted hood protector.
I took this picture at night with my garage lights on, Showing one of the screws.
You can see the screw in the picture because of the light, I personally think that it's the best option.
Hi it's a Forest River A-frame Rockwood.
Setup is a breeze, takes about a minute.
It has two beds, table, stove sink, microwave, outside shower, grill.
Hi I used an EGR 303591 superguard hood guard off Amazon.
It uses metal bracelets that hold the plastic hood guard about an inch above the hood and it's removable too as it's attached with screws To the brackets.
Hi, yes it was a very impressive trip, I'd have to say a definite bucket list one to check off for sure.
As far as brakes the popup has emergency electric brakes if it came loose from the tow vehicle, that's all.
I tell you that I had no issues at all with stopping with the trailer attached...
Included are photos of camper, Maverick, and Yellowstone National Park. Hello yes I put our Maverick to the test.
Our trip of 4500 miles started in Ocean Shores WA. Took us to unbelievable Yellowstone National Park, down to San Angelo Texas, then back home.
Here's some numbers to think...
Hi everyone, let me tell you about our trip so far on out to Yellowstone National Park and then on down to Texas. Well first off let me tell you Yellowstone National Park awesome place to be great fun for everybody. On this trip took our hybrid Mavericks and towed a A-Frame Style trailer puts it...
I'd say you're right about the color. In addition the Cyber orange on the Maverick is a metallic which gives it a sparkle and a bit of color change as well.
