Bought my XL a year after retirement and you're right - I see way more older people driving Mavs.
Why is that???
No tools yet but what I DO carry is a 10" long, 2"x10" board to place the jack on in case of a flat.
I don't want to set the jack with it's small base on God-knows-what kind of ground surface I'll encounter if I get a flat.
Just a precautionary thing.
I put Kelly Safari AT's on to replace the OEM Continentals. In my opinion they ride better than the Continentals and they flat out eat snow and slush.
I gave around $720 for all four. Near Cincinnati.

We got about 6 to 7" of snow here in SE Indiana over the weekend.
My new (November '25) XL, AWD, EB, 4K handled it like a champ. I drove to work in the midst of the storm and saw cars off in the ditch on the way. Very glad I put new Kelly Safari AT tires on it last week.
