Exactly! This is exactly why we usually take our Subaru Outback on trips south, but having a little PHEV truck that gets great MPG would make those easier on the wallet.
I'm in Utah, and AWD makes a difference 4-5 months a year, especially for getting up into the mountains for ski days. We also go to Southern Utah quite a bit, and although we definitely don't expect high-clearance or rock crawling, being able to confidently navigate sandy or rutted backroads...
Considering that a PHEV Escape is about a $5k premium over the Hybrid, that's about what I'd expect in a similar Mav setup. At that price, please take ALL of my money, I'll have a sales agent ready with paperwork the second August orders open up.
But with battery component prices shooting up...
It's an old list, but @fordvideoguy posted the following earlier this year:
Tonneau Cover Soft Folding - 5%
Tonneau Cover Hard Trifold - 3%
Tonneau Cover Soft Trifold - 3%
Bed Mat - 3%

Just watched the @fordvideoguy vid on deliberately slowing down an order with certain options to push it into MY23. Has anyone thought about this? I dropped the SIBL, bed mat, and a cover when Ford released their constrained items bulletin, but obviously still want them.
At this point, even...
Finally getting some movement on my 10/23 CG XLT hybrid w/360! Priority code changed from 19 to 2 this week, confirmed in a chat with Ford. I'd expect within the next couple weeks of actual scheduling, mine would be included.
Is there enough space to have a couple bikes on the tailgate AND use the Kuat? I have the base Kuat rack and love it, but it's not extendable like the NV 2.0 and i'll need some space for kids' bikes eventually.
Thank you for putting this together!! Any advice on winter/snow tires that would fit 17" steelies? No lift on the truck, FWD. Definitely going to need to switch out tires in the spring/fall for winter driving.
10/23 XLT hybrid cactus hitch here, dealer checked this time and still not on the schedule, priority also hasn't budged from 19. Hoping for a September delivery.
Not to pile on, but the Civic is literally the Mav's biggest conquest so far: Biggest Conquest For 2022 Ford Maverick Is The Honda Civic (fordauthority.com)
What tonneau cover would work best with a tailgate pad for bikes? Sounds like any of the locking varieties are out if they rely on a tight connection to the tailgate.
Ordered 10/23, dropped the SIBL in February.
XLT Cactus Gray, Hitch, spare, 360 (no I won't drop it), bed lighting, all-weather mats. I'm actually OK with waiting until the fall or even a 2023 model. More time without a car payment! Current vehicle is a 2004 Honda Pilot (137k miles), that...
October XLT Hybrid here, got the email. I changed my order in February to remove the SIBL, but still have CP360, full size spare, hitch, all-weather mats.
