  1. Due to ongoing battery issues, I finally traded in my 2023 cyber orange XLT Lux Hybrid

I finally pulled the trigger and traded in my 2023 cyber orange XLT Lux Hybrid due to the battery drain problem that never seemed to have a real fix. I was at 32,000 miles and did not want to pay for an extended warranty just to cover an issue that should have already been resolved by now...
  2. Real life hybrid mileage in eastern PA after 2,000 miles

Now that I've had my hybrid for a few months, I figured I would give anyone waiting for a hybrid my real mpg. Lots of hills, driving 10 miles 1 way to work at 75 to 80 mpg, with probably 50% highway and 50% city/suburbs I'm getting a consistent 37.5 mpg. When I was in Delaware for a recent...
  3. My Cyber Orange is finally here!

OEM FX4 wheels and Nokian Outpost APT tires installed today. I'll install the Bedrug and MX4 Tonneau tomorrow. It will be a Memorial weekend! This color is awesome! Now I just have to sell the F-150. This forum has been my saving grace after an 18 1/2 month wait.
  4. Pennsylvania Sold: XLT Wheels (No Tires)

$600 Less than 100 miles when taken off. No scratches or scuffs. No TPMS. Would prefer pickup but willing to ship at buyer's expense. I'm in Eastern PA (Lehigh Valley). Each of the 4 boxes weigh 28 pounds. Dimensions are 19" x 19" x 9.5" for those that want to look up shipping costs.
  5. Pennsylvania WTB or Trade for FX4 wheels

Now that my XLT has a schedule date for April, I'm looking for some FX4 wheels. I'm open to trade or purchase outright. Willing to travel a few hours into NJ, NY, or Md as well as eastern/central PA. I'm trying to avoid the $500 it will cost me for powder coating my XLT wheels.
  6. Has anyone had luck with dealers changing out stock tires and giving partial credit?

Now that I have a build date, I'm looking at changing tires. Although I ordered a hybrid, I will be taking my truck on job sites and need more aggressive tires. I'd like to see if it's possible for the dealer to change them out when it comes in and give me a partial credit for the stock tires...
  7. Chapman - Horsham has 48 Mavericks on their lot!?!

Now I understand why they're getting so few allocations this year. On a side note, today is my 15-month anniversary from my order without a production date. This entire process has been absolutely terrible. https://www.chapmanfordhorsham.com/new-inventory/index.htm?model=Maverick&start=36
  8. Really dissapointed in the BAP, emailed dealer and removed it from my order today

I thought the seats would be completely black. The light gray just killed the entire package for me as I plan to use my Maverick for work and play, which means on occasion I am going to be wet and dirty. Black hides dirt. Removed BAP and added Lux to my XLT hybrid order. I install dark blue...
  9. Ford Marketing Response Regarding Chapman-Horsham Order

They confirmed my original November 2021 order that was resubmitted for a 2023 model year Maverick through Chapman-Horsham last week will definately be built and received as ordered. Obviously they couldn't give me a time frame but they reiterated several times that I will eventually be...
  10. Ford is the anamoly...New-car sales plunge: Supply constraints and rising prices limit buyers

This article puts things in perspective and makes me feel better about waiting so long. We are definitely not alone and are in better shape then buying from other manufacturers...
