Same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago. Only $8300 in damage, and that doesn't include the $8600 in damage from a deer 5 months prior. 😱 She'll be back to normal in a few weeks. 👍
Yes, my lights came with glass bulbs. I had to replace them with 7440/7443 LED's. You probably are trying the wrong LED's. Look at the difference between 3157 and 7440; the physical difference is noticeable.
I bought the same lights but on Amazon. The pics on these appear orange because of the clear halogens included. Just swap them out with Red LED's and White LED's for reverse. I love them!
Tail Lights
Bought these bulbs and they are bright. No grinding tabs (Plug & Play)
LED's
I bought the same ones and it did the same thing, however you just needed to push in a little firmer and you would hear the click and see that it seats well. A nice upgrade for $350. You will also need to purchase some 7443 LED Bulbs to fit these assemblies if you want the Brake and Reverse...
After burning through 2 sets of the Rear Brake Lights, I gave up on Lasfit and will never return. I bought some cheap LED's on Amazon for a fraction of the price about a year ago and they still work great. You just have to dremel or cut the small side tabs in order for these Bulbs to fit.
Same issue here! All of my Lasfit bulbs are holding up except the Rear Brake Bulbs. I've burned through 4 of them already. They did stop selling these Rear Brake Bulbs, and likely because of the quality issues as described in this thread. I will not be buying any more LASTfit bulbs.
