I did it with my schwaben extractor. Took about 10 minutes with oil still hot. I extracted right at about 5.7qt I had no issue removing all of it I put a bit of pressure on the hose with my hand to make sure it stayed down, then replaced it with about 5.7qt of fresh 5w30 Mobil 1. Only part that...
...offers zero impact protection and I hated those T30 screws!!!! I now am tempted to buy the cat converter plate to match. The Rival and a Fumoto valve was a match made in heaven for me. There is a lot more piece of mind for me doing the mild offroading going to explore ghost towns.
The...
I hesitated buying the rival for a year. Now I wish I had purchased it on day 1. Old men like me love the rival and the Fumoto valve! Both make my life easier and make putting off old changes a thing of the past. After doing some dirt and gravel roads with a few ruts I am now thinking of...

You don’t have to spend big to use it, here is the manual drain plug fitting
I looked at getting the Fumoto brand in the past. My concern with that style and others like it is that in the winter, it is not out of the relhm of possibilities that you'll run over the top of an ice chuck dropped by the car in front of you and then possibly break off the fitting which could...
...ever done one before. : )
Because MTC, I do my own oil changes. (Mobile1 full synth, Mobile1 filter. : ) Because MTC, I installed the Fumoto drain valve at first oil change.

...I've learned a lot here, been turned on to several great discounts like the Granger ESP at dealer cost, and cool mods like my favorite, the Fumoto engine oil drain valve.
Regrettably, I did think about exiting the thread before I learned about the lock lever. After reading the few posts...
...I change my own oil 5000 miles the first time and about 7500 after that which is 20% oil life remaining, and I use the factory filter and a Fumoto drain valve.
I dont do anything special and I get about 38 mpg on average, I reset it once a year after it cools down in November. If I didnt...
...the Votex the best. It won by a nose. I didn't physically test any of them, just read the reviews and used my judgement. YMMV. EZ, Stahlbus, Fumoto and ValvoMax. When it arrives, I'll do a review and take photos. If there are quality or installation issues, I'll let you know about it. I'm not...
I have both the valve and extender you listed installed on my 2024 FX4 XLT and they work perfectly. I also did the 910-S and Royal Purple Synthetic oil. It has done well and actually increased my mpg by 1.5 per gallon.

Not crawling under there again today! But....I can say the hatches do line up perfectly for the filter and the drain plug (even though they still recommend a funnel, I do plan to put a Fumoto on it next change). I believe they line up perfectly for the 2.5L. I can't say for sure for the Ecoboost.
This is what I got. There is no issues with the Rival skid plate.
