Here is a good reference to NO ISSUES https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/any-maverick-owners-with-no-problems-issues-so-far.7344/
I have a 2024 Picked up in May 2024 Currently have 30890 miles on her. NO ISSUES!
It didnt "break" the cable. I had said I ruined it. It just tore the rubber out sheath off. And it started to rust. It was due to me not having the tailgate latch bolt (with the TORX) tightened enough and the bracket moved; and that allowed the cable sheath to be worn away by the ball socket...
Nope, pretty sure the image below is the tail gate (and it has the half moon cut out) the piece I circled is the part that is broken in your picture.
BTW, the the piece that you have installed is not installed exactly correctly. Notice that it is not straight up and down? Its angled too...
Neither. Held in place with push grommets. You remove 4 of the ones that hold the weather strip on the hood and replace with new ones that are provided with the deflector.
Made a click / clunk on a very bumpy road. Like I said it was from day number one of my mustang. THe bearing plate does have ball bearings and 2 plates sammitched together. It was more annoying due to the noise than hurting anything. Since they replaced the struts; maybe did not replace the...
My MY24 Lariat (Built in February 24) did not have it either. But a quick trip to the Local Salvage yard yanked from a Escape cost me 2.00. I also picked up 3 auto dimming mirrors and wiring harnesses (12.00 each) so it was 38.00 total. Gave a mirror to a friend installed one and kept one as...
Again, Mine was due to me not trying to overtighten the bolts that hold the steel skid plate on. If you have the fiber plate that's not it. More than likely ball joints or stabilizer bar links.
I had bad Sway Bar Links (the #7) on a 2007 Mustang from Day 1. Took the Ford Dealer over a...
If you have a FX4, check that the bolts holding the skid plate on are tight. I had the same symptoms and my bolts on drivers side were a Lil loose. The univody was flexing and the bolts were making contact during flex. I tightend them a Lil more and the noise went away.
Do yourself a favor.....
Follow my Instructions in this thread. It take a little time and patience but the end result is never having to worry about the cheap ass threadcerts.
I did not know that...... Thanks for the education. I had no Idea. Since you own one I will totally believe you. I thought it was a pull at any time. Another reason I am happy owning a 2.0L EcoBoost.
I don't have a hybrid. I have the EcoBoost. I put it on the gas door. But Even if I did have a Hybrid; I would do the same. You have a pull you can use there. In the drivers rear wheel well. Or behind the Drivers side Pillar behind the rear door.
Just my 2 cents which is worth nothing...
I wish I would have had it from the beginning on mine.
I waited, then had to use a locksmith to come out and open my truck at the window tint place. Didnt cost anything, but had to wait 45 mins for them to show up from the Ford customer service. Now that I have it I use it all the damn time...
Nope. It uses the AT&T Cellular network. Which also carries the Data of how fast you drive; how you brake and how you drive all the time and sell the data to the insurance companies. Pull Fuse 11 and live without the remote start from 300 miles away.
