(1) I've driven through Canada often for work and AT&T has coverage there...they run on Bell Canada towers...not the entire country's covered but definitely in the metropolitan areas. I have an international plan which covers the N. America continent.
(2) Satellite cell minutes are CRAZY...
I swore up and down that my Mav was locking the driver's door itself, but after several times recording how I open the door, it's my hand, pushing the door open and hitting the lock button. I swore I wasn't, but I was. The other doors remain unlocked b/c when I put it in Park they unlock, then I...
I did, and don't see any 'blinding' effect. It's simply a perception issue: they see three white lights oncoming and assume they're brights.
I'll just keep flicking mine on when they do, so they see their mistake...and the brights are definitely bright.
I was error-free until the 11th month of ownership...now, my wifi dongle won't connect to the infotainment system without a Bluetooth disconnect/reconnect and the battery started failing to hold a charge for more than a day. The dongle used to connect as soon as I turned the key, and I think an...
Mine are the T-also. I think it's a knee-jerk reaction when others see three white lights on coming (the two low beams and the Lasfit). The Lasfit are not high-beam bright.
I flick my high-beams when I am flicked at to prove they're not on, for whatever good it does.
Since I had to replace the OEM flooded battery with an AGM I'm more interested in what's going on electrically with the Maverick, and thinking that I should install a voltage meter (or ammeter) but unsure what's the best route to go. Any recommendations? TIA
Wow, that's the dumbest reason for a redesign I've heard of...especially since you don't notice it until someone actually points it out. Still not a fan and more than happy with my '24 XLT but as always, different strokes.
I've decided to turn off the telemetrics, even with the new AGM battery. I'm looking to install a voltmeter onboard to see what's drawing on the battery when parked, too. I know the keyfob will pull on it, but I want to see just how much.
No issues since getting the AC Delco: no warnings (and more importantly, it starts up every time). I hate that I had to replace a year old battery, but the dealer wouldn't do it.
I run my LasFit switchback LEDs as DRL/turn signals and love them! One issue, though: I'm getting alot of oncoming vehicles flashing their brights at me b/c they think I'm running with the brights on, so I think I'm going to have to run the LasFits in yellow instead of white. I have a LEER cap...
My '24 XLT has joined the "failing to start" club. Drove it Friday, got in it yesterday and the jump-pack could not detect the battery, as the voltage was too low. It's been cold here in SE Michigan but I've never had a year-old car battery fail so hard from sitting two days. This is the second...
Did anyone try the 'diagnostic Sync' steps? Didn't work for my 2024 XLT, and I wish I could rollback the last update that forces me to turn Bluetooth off and on again to get Android Auto to launch from my phone. It used to connect as soon as I turned the key...and no, it's not the phone.
I had ACC on a few rentals and a Ranger work truck and HATED IT. It would slow down when a car moved into the lane ahead of me but when the car was no longer there, the delay before it accelerated up to the set speed was too long, and I turned ACC off. It didn't come on my '24 XLT and I was...
I replaced every incandescent bulb with a Lasfit LED bulb, except for the taillights. They can't seem to make a stop/turn/tail bulb that works on the Maverick...very disappointed.
