  1. Deal or No Deal?

If they match my Carmax offered and I can get some tax savings to offset their processing fee, I think it’s worth doing. A new infotainment system isn’t part of the appeal for me, I’m 39 and I’d be happy with a cd player in the dash :) Even if the 2024s are “only” $1000 cheaper, that’s money I...
  2. Deal or No Deal?

$29010 from Long McArthur. That’s before I pay 7% TN sales tax and whatever it costs to tag it. So I’d be at $31040 before I shipped it. Have to say the more I think about it, I’m leaning towards waiting on the 24s to come back and see what kind of deals can be had. Thanks for all the input...
  3. Camera recall.

Any thought that Ford may offer special financing to get these off the lot once the stop sale is resolved?
  4. Deal or No Deal?

They do, but I’d still be about $500 ahead selling to Carmax even with the savings.
  5. Deal or No Deal?

They offered $20,000, Carmax offered $22,000. I’ve never had a dealer come within $1000 of Carmax in my experience.
  6. Deal or No Deal?

I’m going to sell the trade privately, I saw it was listed but they cut out any pricing related to it.
  7. Deal or No Deal?

Yeah, I just asked salesperson about the procare…it was originally $1995 and I said yeah, no. Gonna ask about that processing fee too. $27990 is MSRP on the window sticker. I’m going to put my money down at the bank I finance with, not the dealer. Part of that “discount” is my farm bureau code...
  8. Deal or No Deal?

I am planning on getting back into a Mav when Long McArthur cuts loose their 24s at a nice discount, but I drove an XL Hybrid in Eruption Green the other day and liked it more than I thought. I don’t like the big screen/lack of HVAC controls, but I almost never mess with the controls anyway…set...
  9. Towing a camper trailer w/ my Maverick Hybrid

Man, I love a Scotty. Absolutely classic. Lookng around on FB Marketplace there are some good deals to be had out there.
  10. Explained: 2022-2024 Rear Camera Recall and the 2025 Maverick Delayed Shipping

I went and drove a 2025 in Eruption Green today and I liked the front end more in person, but I didn’t care for the big screen HVAC controls. Nothing different about the ride quality, which for me is a good thing. Going to wait on this fix and grab one of @fordvideoguy XL or XLTs from Long...
  11. 1st time Ford owner and it's a 2025 Maverick XL 2.0

I think that front end, for all the criticism it gets, will look great in the minitruck builds.
  12. $2300 off MSRP on 2024 Ford Mavericks at Long McArthur

@fordvideoguy any updates on the fix?
  13. Is a used maverick above 80k miles worth it ?

https://www.carmax.com/car/26776445 2022 XLT EB AWD 108K miles $21,998 That price is a little crazy to me, but as @inline_five said, crazy is the norm now.
  14. Dealership aren’t allowed to sell XL and XLT

I'm sure it's causing dealers who already have way too much product on the lot plenty of heartburn.
  15. $2300 off MSRP on 2024 Ford Mavericks at Long McArthur

Thanks…same process they had at Granger in 22. 👍
  16. $2300 off MSRP on 2024 Ford Mavericks at Long McArthur

Are you able to collect taxes for other states, or would those have to be paid once the vehicle arrives?
  17. See ya Marty!

For those who are curious…11 months and 8800 miles in I had all this stuff happen/become apparent in the month of September of this year (after buying an extended warranty, which Granger refunded as it was within 60 days of purchase and no claims had been made) Both rear windows are shaking bad...
  18. See ya Marty!

Some persistent quality issues over the past two months were bothersome enough that I put my equity towards a Taco while there is still equity to be had. It’s been real. Best of luck to ya’ll! ✌️ 🤙
