Hey all
I had this installed on my '24 XLT for about 9 months until I sold the truck. This kit always worked really well and I got it since I live in the mountains and cell coverage is spotty.
This is the complete kit, and I even included the Add-A-Fuse with it. All you have to do is add the...
I just removed this kit from my Maverick since I sold it. Will be listing for sale here in the next day or two if anyone is interested.
It worked very well and of course reception is highly dependant on where you mount the XM antenna. I had mine on the roof.
New these are $350, I'll be...
Since I'm trading my truck in, I'm selling the Lariat cluster which now has 25k miles on it. I wrote the thread here how to do this process.
It works perfectly. I had it in my truck for about 11k miles and it's a great upgrade. In Forscan, you'll be able to adjust mileage up but never down...
If anyone is interested in doing this, I'm about to remove my Lariat cluster tomorrow since I'm selling the truck.
The cluster has 24,800 ish miles on it. Remember, Forscan will let you move the mileage up to match your real miles, but never down. I'll be listing it in the for sale section...
Not sure if you're joking. Just in case you're not, it is in fact the same driveway. One angle is from my security camera and one is my phone on a tripod.
An excellent point, indeed! I never considered Fire/police EMS access. You are correct and I probably should've considered that. 👍
lol I don't see the point. My truck gets up it no problem so why bother? The sun will melt it in a couple days so for now, it's just entertaining seeing who can get up and who cant.
edit: Might also be worth mentioning, the landlord forbids use of salt. He thinks it tears up the asphalt. I...
The Mav slips a little when taking off in the clip and it is noticeable but I think its good that the car communicates that to the driver. Even going up the driveway when its icy, you feel the slip. Just keep your foot down and she climbs right up though. Maybe the jeep driver lifted too early.
Other than the ground clearance being pretty low, what are the negatives? I'm interested because its wider and just overall bigger and the RTL-E trim (2021-2023 models) comes packed with features. Also I tend to trust Honda's reliability but then again, I haven't owned a Honda in decades. Open...
I'd agree. It was arguably easier for the mail jeep given that I cleared out the ruts somewhat. (don't own a snow shovel) but even coming home on icy nights, the Mav just popped up the driveway.
13° driveway
5ish inches a few days ago. Nothing can climb my driveway except for my Maverick. UPS and Fed Ex both slid down, and the USPS attempted it today.
Looking closely, I can see the front wheels spinning a bit, so she was in 4WD. Compare and contrast to my Maverick just scooting right...
I'm trying not to jump to what I think is the obvious issue here (CVT axles). To those who have had that issue, was this the symptom?
Every morning when I go to work, I have to climb a pretty big mountain and the whole way up the mountain (~10% grade for 5 miles) I hear this squeaking. I...
Thats awesome. I'm going to start carrying a shotgun in my truck. The last two deer I've hit have scampered away. Not next time!! I'll blow their antlers off!
