Wow just reading this thread as this is the first I've heard about the rear brakes wearing out quickly on the Maverick. I was under the assumption that the hybrid pads and rotors tend to last a real long time but I guess now I'm not so sure. We have a 2023 Escape Hybrid AWD with about 33K on it...
Good to hear your liking the Gator SFX Tri-Fold soft cover. I'm in SE Michigan so we get our fair share of snow here too but my truck will be garage kept. Any issues with the Gator leaking at all? I like the idea of a hard cover one but not sure I want to pay up for it, lol.
Well dang that's rather depressing especially with you taking all of that care too. Strange request but do you have any pics of the scratches on the interior? I have a base interior 2024 Mustang GT which has a lot of plastic on the interior but maybe it's better quality than the Maverick? I just...
Do you happen to remember what it cost for the PPF you had done via 3rd party? Also unfortunately the truck I have coming in (not my order) doesn't have the factory PPF but a 3rd party shop will probably do a better job. Interesting that you only had the hood done on your 25. So I guess if the...
Good to hear you haven't had issues with stone chips on either of your Mav's but a little disappointed with your comment on the interior, lol. I guess I'll just have to be extra careful and try to minimize the scratching the best I can.
Most likely going to be purchasing a 25 Maverick Hybrid AWD XLT soon so I'm looking for things I can and actions I can take to minimize stone chips and scratches to the 'delicate' interior plastics. The truck I'm looking at is already built and in route and doesn't have the factory PPF option on...
I'm looking at getting a 25 AWD Hybrid and I keep seeing posts how easy the paint chips and how easy the interior scratches. Hopefully I can come figure out a few preventative measures to help with both of those issues.
When you say to keep tire splash from the black hole are you referring to the hole that Mabett also makes a cover for? I'm in the market for a Maverick and trying to figure out if this hole is a big deal at all and why is it uncovered in the first place?
New Maverick video out from The Fast Lane Truck today where they do a 0-60 test in their 25 AWD Hybrid. They are in Colorado so like 5200 feet above sea level so that's not helping. Anyway they came up with 7.99 FWIW. The test starts at just past the 14 minute mark:
Thanks for the report. I see your on your third Maverick now. Am I correct to assume it's better than your previous two? Also do you find it to be quicker than the previous ones?
Glad to hear your loving your new 2025 Maverick hybrid. It certainly sounds like the 25 has really improved on what was an already great truck. Also I just noticed in your profile pic that you have a Ruby Red XLT. I had my dealer tag (hold) and incoming 25 XLT AWD hybrid for me yesterday in Ruby...
So you don't have an issue with the whining noise on your 25? It sounds like it's present on the 25's but most seem to indicate it's not bad. I'm trying to find a 25 hybrid to test out but it's slim pickens here unfortunately.
Thanks for the reply back and all the good information. I found an incoming XLT Maverick that my dealership has put on hold for me so I'm going to check it out when it comes in. It's a 25 AWD XLT Hybrid and will be a change going from my Mustang but it just seems like it's time to get in a more...
So non issue regarding the fix for the wheel well hole or just leaving it be? I'm curious how many folks are patching that actual area compared to just leaving it be?
