I'm going to have to look into getting one of those. I can't stop looking at the scratches on my dash when I'm driving and it puts me in a bad mood. :ROFLMAO:
Yeah, I just removed the visor clip on the supplied remote and used 3M VHB tape to mount it to the overhead console. Never had an issue or worry about someone breaking into my truck to steal the remote. (Is this a thing that actually happens in bigger cities?)
My XL doesn't have the power mirrors and at first I was pretty annoyed about this, but then I got to thinking about it and realized that in all the years of driving my old truck I only ever used the power mirrors once: the first time I adjusted them for myself. Unless you have multiple people...
Nice! Whatever you do don't lay anything hard on the dash. The dash of my '25 XL is already scratched from some hard plastic laying on it while driving. 🤬
I bought Weathertech liners for my last two vehicles. The first one they fit great but on the second one I had typical fitment issues with the edges not laying flat. Contacted Weathertech and they gave me the run around so I just lived with it. I went to purchase them for the Mav and got sticker...
Search Amazon for 17" wheel covers. Any of those should work with your Mav's stock steel wheels. You will probably need to remove the stock hub cap in the center to make them fit.
This was basically my thinking on the XL wheels as well. I've had vehicles with premium alloy wheels in the past and they were always too nice in my opinion to justify replacing for something aftermarket, but the XL wheels? They're just basic steelies. They'll be replaced without a second...
Are you looking for hubcaps or wheelcovers? The XL Mav ships with hubcaps already on (The plastic piece in the center of each wheel) If you're looking for wheel covers (covers the entire rim) I don't see any reason why they wouldn't work.
Eh, I actually prefer the look of the '25 over the previous years. I think the little bar that goes all the way across into the headlights on each side looks goofy as hell. To each their own, I suppose.
I mean, being a little over full is better than being under full but neither should cause any catastrophic damage to the engine as long as it's showing on the dipstick I would just start it and let it idle for a couple seconds then shut off and recheck level after a minute or two. This usually...
Sweet setup dude. I'm impressed. I didn't get the 4K tow package so my little pop-up is the most I can really tow without exceeding the limit. What kind of fuel economy you get towing it? I was getting a consistent 23MPG towing my pop-up but that was on back roads as well so I expect it would be...
Looking forward to it. Currently deciding between the Falken Wildpeaks and BFG Trail Terrains. I'm going to wait until I find a set of rims that I like before I get new tires though.
That's what impressed me the most was just how drama free it was. Just felt like I was driving on dry ground. A little later after I parked I got to watch a first gen 2WD Ford Explorer go rallying through the same spot I just cruised though. It was quite the show.
